About this deal
Considerable investment in European manufacturing facilities, the establishment of a European network of 6 wholly owned companies, and the constant search by Yuasa to provide even more reliable power from smaller batteries, has resulted in the company's current position and proud claim to be No.1 in Europe! If lead sulphate (white powdery substance) begins to build up on the lead plates inside your battery it is very likely the lead plates may not be able to accept the charge they need, causing the battery to become unusable. To help prevent this, when storing your motorcycle you should disconnect the battery from the bike and continue to charge regularly. Regular Motorbike Battery Maintenance

Yuasa are one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of valve regulated lead-acid batteries with global manufacturing plants and an extensive marketing and distribution network throughout the UK and Europe.Under no circumstances should chargers be used which attempt to de-sulphate deep-discharged batteries under 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before they begin the actual charge. The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must never be exceeded. Recommended charging current 1A and maximum charging current 12A.
JMT lithium-ion motorbike batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and use the lithium-polymer process in their manufacture. This means that they will not catch fire or explode in normal operation, which can happen with the cheap, low-quality lithium batteries which are less stable. Please Note: Gel batteries are not suitable for high current draw applications such as cold-starting large or high compression engines. The latest in motorcycle battery technology, Lithium Ion batteries are the lightest and most environmentally friendly options on the market.
