About this deal

I actually really like it. I love syrupy, gourmand perfumes and I love rose, peony, iris, vanilla and tonka so I find it really pleasant. I think the price-performance-ratio is to decide individually. For me, yes it's worth it. For others it may not. And as I said, you really don't need much. It stays on for a long period of time, so you don't need 10-15 sprays throughout the day, 2 is enough for a whole day. If you want to stand out from the crowd and assert your dominance over the fragrance "normies," don't get this. But if you want to blend in and smell a bit better than most people wearing similar scents, this is pretty nice.

The fragrance itself is nice. I get an apricot-rose opening with a good bit of vanilla/tonka/sandalwood in the drydown. It's not outstanding in any way, just a nice fragrance that smells...nice. The dry down almost smells like when you've had oud satin mood on the day before and you can still smell the sweet rose and vanilla. The more it dries the more floral it becomes but still staying sweet. As I said, it's nothing particularly groundbreaking but I can't stop sniffing it. It has got that same thing that I've noticed with Delina though, I don't know if it's rose and peony together, or the musk, or what, but it smells a tiny bit like sweat but it doesn't put me off somehow. Now I've just got a whiff of what I thought was a bit cherryish but must be the apricot. It changes a lot from the first spray. Anyway, I'm pumped that this doesn't have any patchouli in it. I love rose and iris, so hopefully this will be a winner for me. Honestly can't wait to smell it. Also, even though this is Miss Dior, this is a brand new scent. Disliking it because you're comparing it to its old composition, isn't really giving it a fair chance. I feel like I've heard them say before that they change miss Dior often to keep it fresh and modern and with the times. With that being said this isn't the first reformulation, and it certainly won't be the last.Miss Dior perfume from the house of Dior has experienced many reincarnations. The new Miss Dior Eau de Parfum comes out in September 2021, announced as the rebirth of this fragrance full of love and hope. It has a cleanliness to it, but not a citrusy/fresh one. More like a clean cashmere sweater washed with one luxurious laundry detergent.

Those warmer base notes start to show through within fifteen minutes, as the rosiness and fruits recede. From there, this scent dries down into a deliciously spicy vanilla, with delicious hints of rose, apricot, and more of the plum. This scent always keeps a bit of an acidic edge on my skin, but I think it makes it pop and counteracts the sweetness just slightly. When I sampled an older bottle at the store, the liquid perfume in the bottle was visibly darker, and this central phase in the perfume came out almost immediately. I don't think I'll let mine macerate too long, because I kind of love the opening! It might feel « generic » or « mainstream » to some. I don’t really know what this means or why it’s such a bad thing. Went to spray this at the store just to see if I still liked this patchouli rose iconic classy scent that always changes each year slightly …. To my surprise it was a different fragrance all together. I had no idea. I smelled warm vanilla fruits ( peaches ) with a little rose and Iris . I bought it on the spot as I loved it at first sniff. What’s not to love here. It’s so so beautiful. Fluffy , creamy , vanillic Ambery fruity and fresh. Can’t go wrong with this one if you are looking for a save , crowd pleaser that literally everyone will love.I have heard LOTS of people say that this fragrance doesn't last and has poor performance. I beg to differ. About 7 pm I sprayed this on a tester strip and left it sitting on the dresser in my bedroom. I went to sleep around 10:00 and woke up some time after midnight because the scent was so strong that it had permeated the entire room and woken me up. I had to get up and go throw the test strip in the trash can in another room. The creation is signed by Dior in-house perfumer François Demachy. He said that the rose in this version is a little more spicy, and that he added fruity aromas of apricot and peach to it. It's sweeter than I expected. It has a candied smell at first and that remains in a scent bubble around you. It kinda reminded me of the sample of Coach Wild Rose at first, the sweet airy scent that surrounds you with that one. Except that one doesn't really have any rose despite it's name.

But the opening notes are bright and cheerful, a peony/rose freshness, some fruitiness that I can't properly identify as either apricot or peach, but with a touch of tart sourness to it. Like a sour plum, although that's not a note here. There's a slight powderiness too that perhaps is the iris, although again, I can't distinguish iris exactly. My kids loved this one, as well. I wanted a signature they could recognize me by, and this was their favorite of the ones I was considering. On my skin, the musk/sandalwood/vanilla base notes do come out nicely, making it feel more mature & elegant. It's a warm, comforting, sweet, musky delicate floral mixed with powdery vanilla and a touch of fruit. Ultra feminine. Of all the perfumes I've tested, this one feels like it suits me so well. So it is my signature scent now! Their prices are rediculous. Yes, the first batch number bottles smell really good and then the watery tone down beggins till a new Miss Dior will come. Does anybody from you remember that Miss Dior 2012-14 (released on 2012 till October 2017) used to have ABSOLUTE de parfum and not ESSENCE from it's notes. I have a bottle of my signature that still smells 95% similar to the first day and that's because absolutes are more oily, expensive and really intense. Iris, vanilla, sandal wood and tonka bean. What can I say, this is in the middle of sexy and elegant. Always get compliments. Everyone wanna know what I wear. Heads turn around and smile. People at the restaurants tryna get closer to me. It’s okay scent, kinda generic, always similar to something else. But miss Dior has its own personality that other perfume can’t give. Opulence, adorable and luminous. Warm, friendly and sweet.I am going to be as objective as possible because I know that this perfume, due to the weight of the name it carries, has brought a lot of controversy, it is well known that the Miss Dior created by Dior for his sister is a jewel, but currently that perfume would not be to the liking of the most potential clients because it is very bitter and vintage (even for me) in the years that defined my tastes for perfumery, a jewel was born from the hands of Christine Naguel called Miss Dior Cherie which is to this day my favorite and my great love of the Miss Dior line, when Demachy entered as Dior's absolute creative nose, he unified and reformulated both fragrances, creating Miss Dior eau de parfum (2011) and the classic Miss Dior L'original. Although the 2012 formula had changed, it was reminiscent of Miss Dior Cherie but seemed more like a flanker of Coco Mademoiselle (the only feminine fragrance that I like from Chanel) although in my case I prefer Dior. After an eau de Toilette in 2013 that was in accordance with the edp which was logically fresher thanks to the blood orange, even so very similar, the line followed this course (although with different formulas) until 2017 where Demachy realized to the task of changing the fragrance, slightly recalling its 2012 version, but with a predominant note of rosewood (reminiscent of that Dior jewel that is Dune) and high doses of vanilla with patchouli. The latter marked a new generation that was beginning in the world of fragrances (as in the case of mine with Cheríe and her subsequent 2012 edp) and they could enjoy it until 2021. The bow? What happened to it? The 'couture' bow that Miss Dior 2021 has supposed to be in the pure parfum edition but who am I joking with. Remember the time the line has a parfum version sold on boutiques only? How many negative comments has Dior now for their clothing lines too? How hard you can try to destroy something that it's already destroyed? I feel disgusted and this is the reason I will never ever buy again a perfume from Dior. If you find me extremely harsh, it's because you never had some of the previous editions in your heart. As it dries down I definitely get more floral and could have sworn I smelled patchouli. It reminds me of something else that I can't place. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's very pleasant. I'd be happy if someone bought me it as a gift. Picture this : your beautiful home is clean, and you’ve just had a relaxing bath. You are all cozy on your sofa under a luxurious cashmere blanket. On your coffee table, you have a big bouquet of fresh peonies, some vanilla and apricot macaroons and a hot cup of rose tea. You feel peaceful, relaxed, cozy, and oh so feminine. This is what Miss Dior edp 2021 smells like to me. BUT do not compare it to the other previous versions as that one is clearly completely different . The older version was a sister of coco Mademoiselle , a rose patch scent , and a beautiful one at that. Too bad it’s gone , or is it still available ? I love this, really love it… But it stands in its own. It should have been a flanker with added vanilla and peach & No patch , patchouli was the heart of the old one. A slightly different name would have been great. And keep the old one as well.
