As requested by many of you, we have increased the volume of annual seed - giving you more poppies, cornflower, marigolds etc - to ensure a beautiful patch that also supports our pollinators! They mention that planting them was so simple, they are easy to sew and sow, and there is no preparation required. If you are an existing retail partner and don’t see yourself on the list, please contact us and we will add you straight away. Just scatter them straight onto open ground at any time of the year (although spring and autumn are optimum times). Native to these shores and invaluable to bees, butterflies and a range of other pollinators, it will provide a beautiful look to your wildflower garden.of seeds from 18 native wildflower species, mixed with local, protective clay and sifted, nurturing top soil. There are diverse – opinions on this around the world say spring and autumn are particularly good times to start them growing. Using seedballs protects the seeds from predators and provides a nurturing environment for the seeds to germinate from, making it easier for you to create the wildflower habitat Britain needs. I tend to say 'cleared soil' as wildflowers are slow growers compared to grasses and perennial weeds.
