Hugo reverse is a fresh but not aquatic fragrance, it is an aromatic citrus where a juicy, energizing and exquisite grapefruit stands out from the start, which is accompanied by one of my favorite aromatic herbs, rosemary, the "pamplewood" molecule gives it a sweet woody touch and it further emphasizes its fresh character with a very fluid vetiver in the background, this composition performs well and is ideal for spring-summer, it is not one of the most versatile since I see it for exclusive daytime use, but I highly recommend it, an inexpensive jewel for the summer (although in my country it works for the whole year). Massive surprise with it being a Hugo Boss fragrance, and even further, a flanker of a frag that came out when I only dated girls who wore Abercrombie and Fitch. It smells nice and does have some Elysium vibes, but it really just doesn't last long enough to be worth purchasing. I can definitely see the appeal, but to me it's difficult to get over the harshness (without a better word to describe) that genuinely makes my head hurt. I watched a YouTube video about the "Lemonade" likeness of Dior Homme Cologne, and how Jimmy Choo Man Ice smells similar to that. Overall there is lot of resemblance to dior sauvage edt,maybe slightly milder and less peppery that sauvage.Hugo Reversed was one of those "must-have cheapies" for about two months, at which point discounters, far and wide, went "oh, people like this?
