About this deal

Pig is teaching Hartley how to box with a punchball. Hartley is not finding it easy because you need to see what you hitting when you are boxing. Pig laughs so much that something unexpected happens.... Hartley wants some milk, but the bottle is empty. He tries to catch the milkman-with a butterfly net-and fails. So he goes to a farm in the country. Now he only has to find out which animal gives the milk.... What can the puppets do about Johnny? He seems to think that he is the only one who is helping, whereas he is only one of the Pipkins, the help people…. It is the Pipkins day off. They decide to have a picnic and get everything ready, but just as they are about to go, the van won't start. They all decide to go to the picnic in different ways……………

Topov is unhappy. He thinks there are better places to live than Pipkins and that everyone else is better off...........Some painters paint walls, other painters paint pictures. Hartley knows exactly which painter he is, but it doesn’t help very much with the job that they have given him to do. Or does it? Bertha sets out for the workshop to see Johnny but when she arrives Mr Pipkin and Johnny are out. Although she’s a bit cross, she decides to clean up while they are out. Hartley helps out, but finds the vacuum cleaner too loud for his big ears! The cast of Pipkins comprised several puppeteers and voice actors, including George Woodbridge, Jonathan Kydd, Heather Tobias, and Wayne Laryea. How many episodes of Pipkins were produced?

Eating as much as you can and sharing don't always go together, but maybe Pig has found the answer................. Charlie’s Grandad is old and often forget’s things. For example, when he turns on the kitchen tap to wash up, he forget’s to turn it off again and get’s his feet wet. Can the help people help him? Topov has a new lookout place but at night it get's a bit lonely, so he decides to sleep indoors like everyone else........... Pipkins focused on the adventures and interactions of the various animal characters. The show aimed to educate and entertain young children through the use of puppets and storylines that were both engaging and relatable for its target audience. What is Pipkin’s first name? Johnny takes Topov on a visit to the Queen's palaces, where he sees soldiers on duty. So Topov decides to be one too, and guard the gate of Pipkins....Inigo Pipkin was a puppet maker. Hartley Hare, Pig, Tortoise, Octavia the Ostrich and Topov were a group of animals who lived with Inigo and ran an organisation called The Help People.

Hartley thinks that Tortoise may be ill when he won’t come out of his shell, so he sends for Dr Stethoscope. Hartley and Pig pretend they are flying to the moon. When they arrive there, Hartley finds an animal quite different to any animal he has seen before…. What does Mooney keep in his bundle? A question which has been asked for many years. Today, we get a little near the answer....Why is Johnny so sad? What can Hartley and the others do to cheer him up? And if they can think of anything, can they keep it a secret? In 1974, in a first for children's television, the death of Inigo was worked into the programme, predating the Mr Hooper episode on Sesame Street by nine years. From this episode onwards, the show was renamed Pipkins and Inigo's assistant, Johnny ( Wayne Laryea), took over. The direction of the programme had to change; from here on, the show ceased to centre around a puppet workshop and the characters became the 'Help People', helping anyone in need of a hand. Similarly, another episode "Death of a Goldfish" dealt with the topic of death, in regards to losing a pet. Topov the monkey and Johnny discussed why the goldfish died and why people die. If the window is open, Hartley can look out, but the rain comes in. When the window is shut, the sun comes in through the glass.... A rather strange thing is happening to Hartley,-people don't seem to see him. They look through him as though he isn't actually there............

Pipkins was a unique British children’s TV programme that featured a range of animal characters with regional accents. The main characters included Hartley Hare, Pig, Topov the monkey, Octavia the ostrich, Pigeon, Mrs Penguin, Uncle Hare, and Sophie the cat. What type of animal was Hartley Hare? The new puppet makes snorting noises. He also eats all the time, often rather strange things. Hartley puts up with this for a while, until he finds drawings of food among his own pictures….. The storyline moved away from the puppet workshop to deal with a whole range of everyday issues (such as Hartley Hare visiting the dentist in the playlist above) with the characters often helping those in need. It all started as a game-instead of talking to each other you sing to each other. This leads to a Pipkins play-with singing instead of talking... Mr Pipkin is making an Ostrich. But Hartley doesn’t like other puppets and interferes by showing pictures of his uncle…..The show’s cast of puppets was diverse and memorable. Hartley Hare, the somewhat threadbare puppet, acted as the leader and thinker of the group, often engaging in witty banter and humour. With his unforgettable personality, Hartley became a fan favourite. Hartley wants to go fishing but everyone else would rather go to the park. How can the problem be solved?
