Max and Cozy are very taken with one another from the start, I was surprised how quickly they start up their secret hookups, which of course lead to more later.

But he's been very badly burned by love before, so he's not about to take a step into anything more with his beautiful, sassy nanny. I love that he needs her to keep her eyes on him at all times, even though I didn't love the reason behind it. Unfortunately, they've been unable to find the perfect fit, and the hot mess of a woman who interviews last doesn't seem to fit the bill either.While the humor this author uses doesn’t always work for me, I really loved the relationship and emotions from all of the characters. Sure she has the same insecurities ALL women have, but she's not riddled with low self esteem the way most plus sized heroines are portrayed these days. Do you feel weighed down by stress and pressure, held back by judgement and lack of opportunity, and critcised by everyone – including yourself? It’s honestly wonderful to see how strong she is and how confident and beautiful she feels in her own skin! For Arthur Dent, who has only just had his house demolished that morning, this seems already to be more than he can cope with.

A beautiful, heartwarming, loving, steamy puzzle that will melt your heart and your Kindle, probably. I thought the age gap was going to be a lot but I suppose 8years is okay- I would have preferred a bigger gap but I enjoyed the story a lot! Pick this book up if you love a single dad, nanny and adorable daughter all mixed in because this book did it WELL.In the absolutely packed Act II, the dark fantasy resumes and the Sandman expands into the French Revolution, ancient Rome, 19th-century San Francisco, eighth-century Baghdad, and beyond.

If you read Endurance, there was mention of a South African teammate of Tanner Harris named Roan DeWalt. I loved the relationship between her and Max, and equally loved the relationship between her and Cozy. Next In Line is book two in my Wait With Me Series and is about the bearded ginger, Sam, who was the heroes best friend in Wait With Me. Cozy is no young or timid heroine falling for the boss, she's a strong and independent woman who knows exactly what she's getting into. I also loved all the little side stories to this one that made it a great, complete package – Cozy’s love of romance books by Mercedes Loveletter, her charcuterie board creations, Max’s involvement in LGBTQ+ charities, and Max’s three brothers who make a few appearances.

Strength is the combination of That One Moment and A Perfect Moment plus several other bonus scenes and epilogues. The single dad who puts his daughter and his job above all else, because he's been burned by love before and he doesn't want to go down that road again. It was honestly adorable to see their interactions and that he makes time for her and checks his camera and texts to see what they’re up to. Then he discovers she’s having similar fantasies and they decide to have a no strings fling for the duration of the summer.
