Y'all probably won't catch me reviewing another middle grade novel, but just know, this book was an exception for a reason. He wants to be on the team and one day he decides to show up these fancy people on the track and show them he can run too.When I was really young, I used to ask him if a sunflower was going to grow inside of him since he ate the seeds so much.

Well, not really talking to himself, but just repeating character names and plot lines he thought of on the train, over and over again, because he’s afraid he’ll forget it all before he gets home. One of the central conflicts in the novel involves Ghost’s desire to acquire an expensive pair of running shoes.It follows an impoverished kid name Castle "Ghost" Cranshaw who accidentally joins a recreational track team after beating the team's fastest sprinter in an impromptu race.
