About this deal

If you’re looking to do well with these guys, this is definitely an army that will require a lot of practice. Playing against one of, if not the, best factions in the game as your weekly sparring partner should get you pretty comfortable to fight against literally any other army. Utterly insane, the Fungoid Cave-Shaman known as Snazzgar Stinkmullett leads the Gloomspite Gitz in search of the Waaagh! to end all Waaaghs! Next, Command Trait and Artefact loadout can be extremely important. Let’s look at some options to give you an edge. Command Traits

Grots are omnipresent so it’s no surprise they can be found in large numbers even in the Eightpoints, either by searching some glass for their potions or other sneaky and nefarious tasks. There’s even who says that some shamans madder than others are trying to call the Bad Moon over the Varanspire… The Gloomspite Gitz share a worship of the Bad Moon and are united under Skragrott the Loonking. The Bad Moon is a portent for lunacy and predicting its appearance is of crucial importance to the Gloomspite Gitz. The Bad Moon is at the centre of the Gloomspite Gitz’ allegiance ability. Drizgit is a much improved Squig Herder with the same ability to prod Squigs to make a bonus move, 2″ range melee weapon, higher damage (2/4) and higher Toughness (4) and wounds (12).Da Choppas clan is really the only one I wouldn’t rate at all, and would highly recommend the generic traits and relics over this. If you’re running lots of Brutes there may be something here, pabble rouser is probably worth looking at with force multipliers getting more multiply-ee is a good thing. I would probably just ignore them. The Gobbapalooza introduce situational buffs but there is a limit on how many abilities you can use per turn. If you are really like an ability, then you can use one of them for support. This can and probably will change the more you play, as well as adjusting around what armies are prevalent in your area. Whichever you choose, just make sure you practice it. Tobias Kempf – Disciples of Tzeentch: Another Incarnate summoning list, this one using Eternal Conflagration to buff up the shooting of it’s 10 Pink Horrors I suspect we will see a lot of Fungoid Cave-Shamans in Gloomspite Gitz lists given the model’s use as a multi-spell caster and command point factory.

Proper use of Command Abilities is key to to getting the most out of your army. Command Points are valuable and a well timed command ability can change the entire flow of the game, so you should be aware of which ones are available so you can pop them at the right time. Alright: Get ‘em!, a warscroll command ability from the Warchanter, grants you an out of sequence charge move and s ince this is in your opponent’s turn, it can catch them off guard. Note that their Skinks can still use the Parting Shot ability to get away from you though, thanks to the FAQ. Still, this can help close the gap such that it may not be enough. Warclan Abilities This has been mentioned a lot but I'm just getting into AoS and want to know what models to buy and paint, I've tried to come up with an army list that has all of the models I liked the look of and wanted to paint in it but I have no idea if it's actually ok to use this army. Not planning on anything competitive, just casual play with friends. I also painted a Fungoid Cave-Shaman, probably one of the best grot models GW have put out since AoS started, and a squad of Sneaky Snufflers, adorable mushroom-finding squigs and their handlers. The folks at Cubicle 7 have been sharing more information on the different Destruction characters that you'll get to play as in Champions Of Destruction. Why be good when you can be a rampaging and sneaky Gloomspite Git? Around this time I tried playing in the Edinburgh and Lothian Gamers (ELG)’s AoS league down at Red Dice Games. I brought my fluffy Cities army (3 Steam Tanks and a shitload of aelves) to three General’s Handbook 2021 Pitched Battles and got completely stomped in all of them. I knew what I was getting into, but still… not the best time I’ve had playing the game.

In the last two months, a couple of colleagues and I decided to dive into the hobby and of course since we are all new and never really played, we decided that 2,000 points was a good idea ! Yeah, no… but anyway one of us chose Skaven, the other chose Seraphon and I went with the Orruk Warclans hoping GW would release the revampires sooner! Still, I absolutely adore the faction’s lore, the fluff, the spell descriptions, and generally everything these green morons do. Speed of the Spider God (Double, Webspinner Shaman): +1 Move for Spider Riders and Scuttleboss within range. During deployment, instead of setting up this unit on the battlefield, you can place it to one side and say that it is set up hidden as a reserve unit. You can set up 1 unit hidden in this manner for each friendly MOONCLAN GROT unit consisting of 5 or more models that is on the battlefield and that does not have the SQUIG or FANATIC keyword.
