About this deal

The definitive magic reference book for Witches, Wiccans and all devotees of the magical arts. This is the real version of the archetypal master spell book of fantasy that has a place in our collective imagination. The spell book also contains a brief history of and basic precepts of magic, plus material about the tools of Witchcraft. Before any spell is cast, the initial requirement is that you have a personal goal. What do you want to achieve? What do you wish to prevent? What are your secret desires, your deepest fears? Magic spells are always cast for a purpose, even if it's a generic one like "personal happiness," the proverbial "peace on Earth," or obtaining vague "good fortune." The more specific your desire, the more clearly articulated your vision, the deeper your passion, the more likely it is that your spell will work. There is not one type of spell that is inherently more powerful than another; there are only spells and styles of spell-casting that are more effective for a specific individual. Part of the fun and challenge of spell-casting is finding the spells that best suit you. I think I got this book between the ages of 12 - 14 years old. It has always been on my shelf since then. This is the magical equivalent of a prize and inspirational cookbook: nothing is too basic to be explained and yet sophisticated tastes as well as emergency situations are catered for. urn:oclc:record:1348979127 Foldoutcount 0 Identifier elementencyclope0000ille Identifier-ark ark:/13960/s2r0g7ns2n8 Invoice 1652 Isbn 0007164653

Following over a decade of independent study, I earned a certificate in therapeutic aromatherapy. I served on the faculty of the Australasian College of Herbal Studies as an aromatherapy tutor, teaching the certification program. The sources And cultures she draws from aren’t necessarily respected or even understood. I have learned a lot about Ancient Greek religion and history and the things she says about Ancient Greek Gods and history are... well out of context, spun to fall in line with the authors personal beliefs, and are incomplete. She also calls the Gods spirits several times. They are not spirits, they were not considered spirits. The Ancient Greeks believed in Spirits there is a very big distinction between a spirit, a God, a daemon, and Nymphs. She talks about syncretism and how Aphrodite was associated with Anahita but Anahita was also associated with Athena for being war like as an example of why syncretism is confsuing which would be great except that Aphrodite was also a war Goddess. She has epithets that literally refer to her as “the war like” Access-restricted-item true Addeddate 2022-10-10 23:01:18 Autocrop_version 0.0.14_books-20220331-0.2 Bookplateleaf 0004 Boxid IA40733824 Camera USB PTP Class Camera Collection_set printdisabled External-identifier From Merlin and Grimm’s fairytales, to Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Disney’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice, plus countless other fantasy stories, the master spell book has a place in our collective imagination. This book is that fantasy made real. You really need to read the beginning of the book both to know the context of the spells as well as the disclaimers since some of the spells are not meant to be casted and only kept as a record and utilize potentially dangerous substances. Do your research. The spells are not meant for beginners and the magic in the book is so diverse most adepts will learn something from it too as well as the context of the spells Today there are many books of spells for specific needs and occasions for the practising Wiccan/witch, but no comprehensive and inclusive magic reference book exists.

A lifelong pursuit of metaphysical wisdom followed and continues: astrology, mythology, Kabbalah, the Egyptian mysteries as well as spiritual, magical and healing traditions from all over Earth but particularly Africa and Asia. TLDR; menstrual blood and bodily fluids are dangerous to handle and spiritually tainted in most cultures and beliefs, the claims about menstrual blood seem very odd to me, you should read the beginning of the book for your safety and to better understand the spells Magic spells take many forms, avail themselves of many powers, and depend upon various elements, tools, and components. Some of these elements, tools and components occur naturally on Earth, whilst others are crafted by people. Sometimes these elements and components can be categorized neatly into categories and sometimes, magic being the unruly, disobedient force that it is, they overlap and merge in a surreal dream-like manner. Alas, my fellow seekers of arcane enchantments, this book doesn't quite fulfill that particular wish. But don't despair! The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells offers a treasure trove of knowledge on a wide array of magical practices. From spells for love and prosperity to protection and divination, it covers spells that cater to the deepest desires of our mystical hearts.
