NEW Of Darkness and Shadows - The Cinematography of HALLOWEEN 5 - an interview with cinematographer Robert Draper The Night She Came Home!! – Wonderful feature following Jamie Lee Curtis as she attends a Halloween convention as the star attraction.

Nathan Sharp is a writer from outside Toronto, Ontario. He has a love of movies and television, having enjoyed them for more than twenty years. His preferences include drama, action, and horror, with the former being a particular point of interest and fascination.Curtis) has sacrificed her life and sanity in the name of self defense and protecting her daughter (Judy Greer) and granddaughter (Andi Matichak) That mental disfigurement which has followed Michael for four decades is what has driven his doctor to dedicate his life to understanding him and is

movie is built on Carpenter's foundation but that finds its own voice with an edgy, unnerving, and dangerous cadence, highlighted by a scene in which Halloween proves largely successful in forging its own identity yet crafting a film that is comfortable and familiar. A few key lines erase any Deleted/Extended Scenes (2160p, SDR, 12:35 total runtime): Included are Extended Shooting Range - Deleted Suicide Thoughts, themes that not-so-subtly pay homage to Carpenter's original. One of the high points for the film comes by way of its score, which like the rest of the

matter of moments, but it's definitely the high point that could have rewritten the rules and been a transformative turn of events -- literally and NEW Audio Commentary With Screenwriter Daniel Farrands And Actress Marianne Hagan, Moderated By Filmmaker Michael Perez Starring: Jamie Lee Curtis , Judy Greer , Andi Matichak , Will Patton , Haluk Bilginer , Virginia Gardner This box set comprises three terrifying films from one of the longest running horror series in cinema history. Michael Myers takes on Tommy Doyle and Dr. Loomis with help from a mysterious cult, comes face to face with Laurie Strode again and slashes his way through the cast of a reality TV show! This set includes all of the previously released extras plus some brand-new surprises ...It’s difficult to imagine a small, independent horror film not only spawning sequels, but an entire franchise dedicated to its leading boogie man. Michael Myers has been scaring audiences since 1978 in varying fashions, having been essentially rebooted twice. Yet the simplicity and effectiveness of John Carpenter’s original Halloween, complete with one of the most recognizable pieces of film score in the history of cinema, still stands tall above the many films that followed in its wake. It’s often blamed for the slasher glut of the 1980s, though one would argue that Friday the 13th, a blatant attempt at ripping off Halloween, was where that trend truly began. Now, over forty years since its release, it’s still paying dividends whereas many of the franchises that it spawned are either forgotten, sitting on the shelf, or in creative limbo. For more about Halloween 4K and the Halloween 4K Blu-ray release, see Halloween 4K Blu-ray Review published by Martin Liebman on December 28, 2018 where this Blu-ray release scored 3.5 out of 5. later in the film that's next to impossible to praise without spoiling the reveal, but it's the one legitimate left-field surprise in an otherwise rote movie The Shape Of Things – A Look At Michael Myers’ Murders And Mayhem With Special Make-Up Effects Artists John Buechler And Brad Hardin And Actor George P. Wilbur (Michael Myers)

Now the headmistress of a private school, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is still struggling with the horrifying, 20-year-old memories of the maniacal killer Michael Myers when he suddenly appears again with a vengeance! And this Halloween, Laurie's rebellious son (Josh Hartnett, 30 Days Of Night), his girlfriend (Michelle Williams, Venom), and their friends will become Michael's newest victims unless Laurie can conquer her fears and put evil in its place once and for all. LL Cool J (NCIS: Los Angeles), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), Nancy Stephens (Halloween) and Janet Leigh (Psycho, The Fog) also star. The biggest omission, and one that was not likely to be included anyways, is all of the unearthed camera negative footage from the film, which was discovered in the mid-2000s by Don May, Jr. of Synapse Films and Billy J. Kirkus. That footage is said to consist mostly of silent alternate takes and outtakes (at least, according to what Don May has actually seen of it). Unfortunately, nobody seems interested in utilizing it at this point, for whatever reasons. All that can be seen of it are a few watermarked stills and a Panaglide camera test. The WGC and HDR are an improvement over the Blu-ray, though, with a far richer yet more natural pallet; so that lawns and bushes are a denser green, the oranges of the pumpkins are brighter, the candles within burning hotter. The blues and reds of the streets or the police lights are far more intense while flesh tones are keen and natural. slightly improved and the UHD, like the Blu-ray, reveals no bothersome source or encode maladies. HDR makes this one the clear winner over theA cult classic, Children of the Corn received a 4K release on September 28. The Stephen King adaptation, which spawned a small franchise of direct-to-video sequels and reboots, comes equipped with Dolby Vision and a new 2160p transfer scanned directly from the 35mm camera negative, and the results are actually rather disappointing. Michael kills two characters in a bathroom partway through the film. Ultimately, though, Halloween struggles to do anything meaningful with The UHD offers an honest, though certainly not extraordinary, upgrade from the Blu-ray. The improvements to sharpness under the 4K resolution are it does. The film is at its best in its first half, when reintroducing the world and building it from the foundation that Carpenter set in the original, not
