This is a very safe, quite affordable and pleasant perfume which I recommend either for yourself or to be offered as a gift. There is punch of fruits, flowers with a tangy essence to it probably due to pink pepper which gives it a little kick making it unique scent.As it sat on my wrist and the top notes settled some, I could really smell the orris root mixing with the raspberry among a deeper backdrop of vetiver and patchouli. My sister says it smells like Coco Mademoiselle although I don't find any similarities (I am not a fan of Mademoiselle) except that both of these scents are classy. The DKNY perfume collection includes iconic scents including its Be Delicious range, now available in many different versions to suit your personal style. DKNY has added a little more zest to this composition with the raspberry, so that makes it slightly different.

Like DKNY claims, the patchouli is there, but for those who are afraid of wearing anything too "strong", this is a fairly tame patchouli - you can wear it to the office without any issue. This position became a springboard for this ambitious young lady who had the goal to make clothes for young people. I also get that pencil shavings undertone for the first hour but then it morphs into something so comforting and beautiful.I remember the pencil sharpener was positioned on the marble window sill of my old, non air conditioned school so when I would sharpen my pencils I could see my house directly across the street and zone out staring the window in a daze, daydreaming about what was going on at my house and wishing I was there, and sharpen my pencil down to a stump. You can definitely describe this one as a fruitchouli as you can pick both - fruit notes and patchouli (both I love). what I like about nearly all DKNY fragrance are the citrus, floral and fruit tones, this was polar opposite.

Upon first spray, this immediately reminded me of coco mademoiselle, but sweeter and fruitier, like one of the other reviewers also said. With a skyscraper spray design, the bottle complements the beautiful fragrance and celebrates not only the energy of New York, but the individuals that live it, dream of it and yearn for it. Each DKNY fragrance makes sure to capture the playful and eclectic essence of NYC with bold, youthful and explorative scents for the brave.I do not consider it sophisticated or sexy as I rather detect a carefree, playful girly attitude which I honestly like. I'm not really a fan of sweet perfumes myself, so this is the part of the perfume that I like the least, although I'm sure others will like it. People men and women always come up to me and ask what fragrance are you wearing it’s such a beautiful fragrance. That said, this is probably going to be a crowd-pleaser - its fruity-floral composition will probably do quite well in this part of the world, where young, feminine scents are popular.
