About this deal

Attach one of the bears to the side of the stuffing station (see photo below) and start turning the handle. Once the bear falls off you need to start pushing the stuffing further into the bear. Start by filling the legs, then the arms and finally the head.

I was sent this product free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions are honest and my own. When you first look at the product, it’s clearly aimed for girls. It’s very ‘pink’ and there’s a little girl advertising the product. But every kid loves teddy bears and this shouldn’t put you off buying for your son. Because in all honesty, Lamb LOVES this toy. It’s then time to dress your bears and they came with a t-shirt each to put on. Your bear is then complete and ready to be loved. You attached the bear on one end and then turn the handle and the stuffing goes into the bear. You do have to use your fingers to push the stuffing into the arms and legs. Both James and Evelyn had so much fun making their own Build-A-Bear and the stuffing stations comes with everything you need for two bears so there is no need to buy extra's. It is a great experience for children to be able to do and would make the perfect gift for any Build-A-Bear fan. Once you have pushed the stuffing further into the bear, repeat the process until all of the stuffing is is inside the bear.

The kit comes with the stuffing station, 2 bears and stuffing. As well as a certificate and accessories for the bears. If you’ve got a child who LOVES teddy bears, and you’re happy to pay a few quid to buy new bears every now and then, then this toy is perfect for your kid. ~A~

I’ll be honest and say that I was a bit dubious as to how good this would be, compared to the experience you have at the actual workshop. But I will give you a little insight now, I loved it! You start off by putting one bag of stuffing into the stuffing station. It doesn’t look like much at first, but trust me, it goes along way. The boys were recently sent a new toy to review. The Build A Bear Stuffing Station. Bear is a little young to play with this so it was down to Lamb to test it out. It’s not very often where we receive a toy that the girls absolutely loved doing, it did everything that it was meant to do, is great quality and will be used again in the future. I was genuinely impressed with it. Following the instructions, stuffing the bears was really easy to do. At first I was worried Lamb would need a lot of assistance, but he actually managed to do most of it himself.

We were recently sent the Build-A-Bear Stuffing Station and with us having lots of lovely time at home this week, we got it out to have ago at making our bears. Overall I was pleasantly pleased with this product. Lamb had so much fun stuffing the bears and he absolutely loves both of them. He insisted on cuddling them in bed and then taking them to school to show his friends! We had our own stuffing station, which is like a smaller version of what they have at the workshops. Holly went first and filled the station with the stuffing. It said to use 1 whole bag for each bear, it looked a lot, but it did all fit in the bear. With the bears complete and the birth certificates completed, all that was left to do is to love and play with the bears. Which of course they couldn’t wait to do. The final part to do, is to fill in the bear’s birth certificate. Alice decided to name her bear Holly, after her sister. She is so gorgeous, I could squeeze her! Holly named her bear Ella, which is a name that she often tells us she is called. The only other thing that bothered me about the stuffing station is that once you have made the two bears that come with the stuffing station it is kind of redundant unless you go out and spend more money on more bears to stuff and fill. I am sure all parents will agree that when you have children storage space is tight so having a toy taking up room that cannot be used again without an addition cost is a little frustrating. When I opened it up, I was really pleased (and surprised) to see that their were 2 bears for us to make. Quite often with things like this, you only get 1. This was a great start and it also meant the girls could make one each.
