My lifestyle requires constant travel -- from visiting family to catching flights to the Southern hemisphere, I'm never in one place for long. Associate Notes with accounts. Notes under anonymous accounts are automatically classified into login account. The notes under the logout account will no longer appear locally and will appear again after you log in to the same account; (This is to resolve the sync issues under multiple accounts.)

Usable ink speed is largely restricted to Onyx's built-in Notes app, although Onyx has been trying to optimize the experience for other apps. One problem with third-party apps is that the tablet has to cache a bunch of strokes and then send them to the app periodically; this results in weird pauses as a line renders. In OneNote, I could write only slightly less than a line at a time before the Note Air 2 paused for a second to render the strokes. During that interruption, I couldn't see my new strokes on the screen. The app caught up eventually, but the experience is still a little disconcerting. I spoke to Onyx about this issue and I'm confident it is going to fix this lag with a software update that extends the buffer. The same Onyx account, the same book in the same folder, and synchronization enabled are required for book annotation syncing across different BOOX devices. The Onyx Boox Max 3 is an Android 9 based e-reader/tablet with a 13.3 inch E Mobius 1650×2200 screen with 4GB RAM, 64GB Internal memory, stereo output, microphone, micro HDMI and USB C specifications On the plus, with its low refresh rate E Ink screen and a focus on eye comfort, the Note Air 2 Plus really doesn't need any more power than it has. At no point when using it did it stutter or crash, which is impressive given how heavily skinned the Android operating system it runs is.Now, E Ink doesn't transition from one frame to another smoothly, it stutters a bit, so this tab isn't a good option for moving content like movies or games. For reading and notetaking, though, it's perfect. Optimize the PDF selection and zoom process, directly selecting the zoom-in area by dragging the frame I just updated firmware (and had a notification there was one available in the settings). It looks to be the latest 3.2. Which is much cleaner/more intuitive than what it was shipped with. Most impressive is the degree to which the ReMarkable 2 has been upgraded since launch. Now, it supports live screen mirroring to a macOS or Windows device, cloud storage support and a host of other features.
Add BooxDrop (two-way file transfer between BOOX and other devices such as PC). BooxDrop only supports Wi-Fi in the same local area network. Add Deep Refresh option, which solves the problem of some images leaving ghostings even after full refresh. (Go to Refresh Settings to set to Deep) Onyx gives you various refresh rate settings that either keep text sharp or make the screen fluid enough for YouTube videos at the cost of ghosting. I've even played games on these tablets, despite some weirdness. Performance isn't the sprightliest; the Note Air 2 doesn't feel as fast as an iPad, but performs acceptably. Support original Epub source format, including multiple fonts, image and text layout, vertical layout, Pinyin fonts… etc. ( Currently it requires to manually switch to V2 Engine and does not support sync data with NeoReader. When you open an Epub book, please go to Settings / Other Settings to set it.)There are no LEDs here, but you can alter screen brightness from the pull-down menu, choosing between yellow or blue light and dimming options, which I found worked great in most environments. Personally, my preference is for a yellow-toned display, but the colder tones proved handy for reading outdoors, or in other brightly lit areas. Overall, though, I was always able to view the content displayed on the screen.
