About this deal

I can't really recommend this book to anyone as there are better books in the same venue (with a stronger scientific base).

Saying F**k It is like massage for the mind-relaxing you, releasing tension, giving up on things that aren't working. made me realize that I don't have to spend a Sunday making Play-Doh babies at the baby shower of a co-worker I'm not close to. People who base their self-worth on being right about everything prevent themselves from learning from their mistakes. While organisational guru Marie Kondo has turned millions of people on to the importance of 'sparking joy' by tidying up their physical space, a new book is turning attention to the need to declutter one's mental space. I enjoyed his ramblings, which were plenty, along with his sense of humor that comes across like that of an eighth grade boy.If I believe I’m an awesome cook, I’ll seek out opportunities to prove that to myself over and over again. Usually if I struggle to finish a book, it's because it's gotten a little dull, or not captivating my attention. Each person, given more power and fewer restraints, will predictably bend that power to suit himself. After reading about one third of the book I said F**k It, browsed the rest very quickly and that's it.

Se tutti imparassero a usare nel modo giusto, liberatorio e non aggressivo, questa espressione, probabilmente ci sarebbero meno medici, meno psicologi e, perché no? Manson uses many of his own personal experiences to illustrate how life's struggles often give it more meaning, which, he argues, is a better approach than constantly trying to be happy. Parkin shares humorous personal anecdotes, authentic advice and essential F**k It techniques - alongside exploring a whole host of worries and stresses to which we can to say. Manson further cautions against claiming certainty about knowledge that is out of one's grasp, especially in the case of attempting to leave a legacy. This book offers short, inspirational thoughts that you can use to bring the wisdom of Fuck It into your life - for example, 'Say F**k It and accept everything just as it is' - all illustrated to give you something to look at and enjoy as well as to contemplate. We are currently closed while we move warehouse locations, but hope to be open again the beginning of Feb! No need, just remember that whatever happens, if you end up with 0 then you can just go on benefits and soon find a house to live in and then get a job and everything will be back to normal! I did not feel like the author really understood me-it was written for men, not because the author was sexist.

It is our intent and purpose to foster and encourage in-depth discussion about all things related to books, authors, genres, or publishing in a safe, supportive environment. There's also some interesting stuff about spirituality in general in there and about learning to work with chi, which was new for me, and also pretty f**ing interesting.

It's a reminder to stop listening to other people and start listening to ourselves, to take that leap and to unlock freedom and happiness by saying these two magic words to all the problems and chaos of life. Kirkus Reviews said that the book was "[a] good yardstick by which self-improvement books should be measured. This is true because every life has problems associated with it and finding meaning in your life will help you sustain the effort needed to overcome the particular problems you face.

I really like the philosophy behind this book - the idea contained herein is that we need to stop stressing so much over everything ("Am I good enough? Thus, we can say that the key to living a good life is not giving a fuck about more things, but rather, giving a fuck only about the things that align with your personal values. Parkin, "The one thing you'll always do when you really say, 'F*** It' is relax" and "problems can't exist in the face of total relaxation" (p. Every individual will blind herself to her own flaws while seeking out the glaring flaws of others” (p. It's the Total Perspective Vortex of books - you're not important, and you never will be important (not on a universal scale, at any rate), so you might as well live the best life you can and not stress over the details.I got two thirds of the way through the book, realised it wasn’t going to get any better, and decided to follow the advice in the title. Your payment method will be charged immediately, and the product is expected to ship on or around December 29, 2015. After quitting her corporate job in 2015 to pursue a freelance life, she moved from Brooklyn, New York, to the Dominican Republic, where she currently resides with her husband and two rescue cats, Gladys Knight and Mister Stussy.
