About this deal

Lala Retro Whipped Cream: apply a pump of Lala Retro™ anytime to clean, dry skin. Mix with any Drunk Elephant serum or oil as part of a total skin care solution. Matrixyl 3000 Peptide Blend: Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while promoting elasticity and resilience. Not-so-great for: Budgets, since this isn’t the cheapest product (although using a few pumps of this every day I still only have to rebuy once every three months so a little really does go a long way.) And since the look here can be as subtle or as full-on as you want (just add fewer or more drops), the result is also a product that’s perfect for a no-makeup-makeup look or for replacing foundation. When you first open the drops, it's easy to be apprehensive about the shade that comes out of the nozzle. It's a caramel-like bronze liquid that looks shimmery, but rest assured, this isn't going to make your skin look like a disco ball nor a Wotsit. Even if you apply this directly onto the skin, it sheers out so well and pretty evenly too. That being said, I do prefer to mix this in with a little moisturiser for a subtle glow, and I find it's way easier to blend out with a makeup brush for a believable tan. But you can still use your fingertips if your prefer.

So are the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops worth it? Although it's subtle in the images, this really does make my skin look healthier and glowy IRL. I like that I can still see my skin through the tint, and it doesn't feel heavy on, but it still manages to even out my complexion a little, making it perfect for days when I don't want a full face of makeup on but still want a touch of colour. I'd definitely need to still wear concealer on any red areas, but all in all, I really like the results. Darker skin tones might not notice either of these bronzing or concealing effects quite as much, however, since this is designed specifically to be diluted down- which unfortunately has the effect of making the resulting colour quite fair. We’d love to see Drunk Elephant expand their D-Bronzi line to include further shades.Caesalpinia Sappan Bark Extract: A vegan colour pigment derived from the sappanwood tree that provides the warm pink/red tones in O-Bloos. Used as an alternative to carmine, which is obtained from crushed beetle shells. Add a drop or more of D-Bronzi to any Drunk Elephant serum, sunscreen, oil or moisturiser for a gorgeous glow and a potent dose of protective antioxidants and omega fatty acids. Skin is skin—and whether we call it the scalp or the eye area or the legs, it can only function at its healthiest when it’s beautified with smart, nourishing, biocompatible ingredients. So we decided to make a line of hair-care and body products that followed one simple idea: Respect the skin by only using ingredients it can get along with. Plenty of beauty products go viral these days, but the popularity of Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Drops is on a whole other level. It is easily one of the most talked about beauty products on TikTok with #dbronzidrops garnering over 24.7million mentions and 74 million views to date. And it has been almost impossible to get your hands on D-Bronzi Drops since TikTok beauty influencer Alix Earle mentioned them in one of her Get Ready With Me videos at the end of last year. BeautyTokkers are going wild for the new launch and #bgoldi has already amassed 22.4 million views on the platform. Unsurprisingly, there are lots of videos comparing B-Goldi to Drunk Elephant’s bronzing drops, as well as showcasing how to use the brightening drops.

And even if you slather these all over your face or just dot them over the high points of your face, they’ll still look surprisingly natural, thanks to their lightweight, skin-tint finish. Also, note: These formulas are so sheer and lightweight that they even work for my light-to-medium skin, especially when mixed with foundation or tinted moisturizer. Vitamin F (Linoleic and Linolenic Acids): This mix of soothing omega fatty acids works to improve the skin’s texture and suppleness while helping soothe signs of sensitivity. The bronzing drops that started it all—Drunk Elephant’s are truly the GOAT. The formula has such a light, barely there feel on my skin that doesn’t emphasize my skin texture or cystic acne. I typically stipple on a sheer layer on top of my face primer, then blend on foundation and concealer. Or on “no-makeup” days, I’ll mix a few drops in with my sunscreen to give my skin a little color that still looks totally natural. FWIW, I prefer the OG bronzing drops for a golden, summery hue on my tan skin, but I recently started blending the O-Bloos Rosi Drops with my blush too, which gives my cheeks such a soft and subtle pink glow. Shake before use. Add a drop or more to any Drunk Elephant serum, oil, or cream for a gorgeous glow and a potent dose of protective antioxidants and omega fatty acids peptides. For best dispensing, store upside down.

In short, almost! Combining skincare products together prior to application is in fact one of Drunk Elephant’s hallmarks- although they’re presumably hoping that what you mix it with will be one of their own products. Many bronzing drops unfortunately come in just one medium-to-tan shade that is often too dark for fair skin or too light and milky for deep skin. In our testing and reviewing, we found the Versed’s Glow Drops are a great option for very light skin, since they come in a sheer champagne color that looks natural, not orange. Another well-tested option is the light-pink shade of the L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion that’ll leave fair skin tones with a shimmery glow (instead of a warm bronze). We understand that it’s really important to know what ingredients are in the products we use, so here is the ingredient callout for D-Bronzi: Effortless & Bronzy Skin All Year Round! I happened to swatch both the bronzing and blush drops a few months ago and knew I needed to have them both! BUY THEM BOTH LOL!

When I created Drunk Elephant, I isolated the most effective ingredients that directly benefit the health of the skin. Now I think of Drunk Elephant as an ingredient-elimination philosophy for a total skin reset. Chronocyclin a chronopeptide that mimics the antioxidant benefits of vitamin D for more youthful-looking skin. According to the brand itself, you can add a drop of D-Bronzi to any “serum, oil, or moisturiser for a gorgeous glow and a potent dose of protective antioxidants and omega fatty acids.” This serum is basically primer and bronzing drops in one, thanks to its dewy texture and bronzey color. I like to smooth a pump over my sunscreen with my fingers to help my makeup stay on all day while also giving me a radiant finish. But, tbh, I also wear it alone sometimes when my skin looks a bit dull because the light-reflecting gold shimmers throughout the formula help give me a lil ~life~. Christmas Collection! Featuring a host of skincare and makeup treats, these beauty showstoppers will please everyone (including yourself) on your gift list.

What it definitely isn’t though is a fake tan product (hence you don’t need to wait for it to develop)- more of an instant bronzer in a lightweight liquid formula that offers skincare benefits. If you have, congratulations! You’ll know how I feel about Drunk Elephant’s D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops. A blend of oils, antioxidants, Vitamin F and cocoa powder (for the colour), I can honestly say it’s one of my all-time favourite buys (even on something like my seventh bottle later).
