About this deal

Still leaning towards the Logitech kit, though I can't find any examples of anyone using it for MIDI (though I see there is a MIDI port on the back, not sure if it's In or Out). The Lips microphones do not work with Guitar Hero World Tour, Rock Band, Rock Band 2 or Rock Band: AC/DC Live.

The system records the precision of your hits, so you can have your own competition in the team as well.If you've tested and verified that a certain instrument works with a certain music game on a certain platform, and we haven't mentioned it here, let us know in the comments. While I'm not 100% sure about this, supposedly the drums are velocity sensitive, but currently the Rock Band games have no notes you play that require that functionality. Its pads were a lot nicer IMHO than the Rock Band kit (a bit quieter, far better rebound), but the cymbals were silly and didn't feel terribly responsive. The RB2 bass pedal is metal plated to prevent breaking like the RB drumset owners experienced numerous times. Also, the bass pedal is weaker on the original Rock Band drum set, and can crack easily if played in the wrong fashion.

The highway consists of five lanes when playing on a Guitar Hero drumkit or when playing on a Rock Band drumkit, and the notes must be matched with the corresponding target.

You'll find real reviews of guitar hero drums that will give you all the information you need to make a well-informed purchase decision. If 5-lane O G notes were to be played at the same time in 4-lane Drums, they would be played on blue and green pads instead.
