About this deal

This LEGO Star Wars set includes 4 minifigures: an Officer, a Clone Specialist plus 2 Heavy Trooper minifigures, all with weapon elements. The gunner's offset position is accurate too, although no controls are present, unfortunately. The legs also tend to move around accidentally as they are connected to the base using clips, but I appreciate their articulation, nonetheless. Additionally, the pitch of the cannon can be adjusted and a spring-loaded shooter is cleanly integrated under the barrel. As is, the variety that can be felt across these different classes sometimes struggles to come through – particularly in the officer, whose waist cape is printed only on the front of his legs. View him from any other angle, and the effect is lost. Unsurprisingly, the 501st sniper is armed with a long blaster rifle. I like the blue arms too – I honestly wish all the 501st minifigures had them. The build in the set is a four-legged cannon, but it isn’t any random cannon – it’s actually a mini version of the Republic AV-7 cannon, that previously appeared as a 2014 set!

I can definitely see this set selling well when it hits stores in January, and I think it’s a worthy addition to any LEGO Star Wars fan’s collection, although waiting for a small discount might be wise. That said, the 2020 set beats the 2023 one in the builds department – the BARC Speeder and AT-TE, while oversized, dwarf the new model despite only costing 33% more.Other differences from a regular 501st trooper include a blue belt, smaller blaster pistol, and a printed kama waist cape. Unfortunately, it seems as though the days of cloth LEGO waist capes are in the past, which is disappointing as the figure looks a little weird with the waist cape being only printed on the front.

The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. Minifigures It’s a bit disappointing that the box art images have been seemingly edited to correct this, but the real figure still has the incorrect positioning. The situation would have always ended badly after 2012 when the decision was made to ignore accessory holes and their future incorporation entirely, unless Lego would have started producing 3 versions of this helmet: No Holes, One Hole, Two Holes, which is what people who care wanted anyway. The first minifigure in the set is a 501st Clone Officer. All four figures in the set use the updated clone helmet mould (with the extra helmet holes), and this one gets a rangefinder. Despite being shrunken down, the general details are present, and I like the mix of grey, dark red, and yellow in the color scheme. One consideration of the helmet with two holes being added to the parts library has also been that the part could be used on clones that need it, not that it would entirely replace the 2012 Phase 2 Clone helmet mold as is apparently the case now. With the new part as it is now already breaking consistency with the previous mold they might as well have changed the circle detailing to be slightly raised up or flat out redesigned everything from the ground up like the much maligned Double Molded Stormtrooper helmet. The only reason why we wanted a helmet with two holes drilled in and nothing more was for consistency which is broken with any figure that has the helmet with holes but doesn't use any accessories, like the regular 212 clones in the AT-TE with their unsightly double circles changing the look of the piece from any angle.]] This LEGO Star Wars set features 4 new-for-January-2023 LEGO Star Wars minifigures – a 501st Officer, 501st Clone Specialist and 2 501st Heavy Troopers – each with a weapon for action play. The set also includes a buildable AV-7 anti-vehicle cannon with a spring-loaded shooter and a seat for a LEGO Star Wars minifigure. I definitely think the show has encouraged building armies. I would also say that the prequel era is the best for building army factions. I think it also has to do with the variety in similarity. They are clones, and they look the same, but they have a variety of colors. They are also the best for customization due to their various colors. I think it's rare to have the 100s of clones that influencers have, but I'm fairly certain that it's common to buy multiples." With this Star Wars building toy kids build the Clone Squadron with 4 minifigures and an AV-7 anti-vehicle cannon recreate The Clone Wars scenes. Minifigures [5] – Excellent figures, small quibbles here and there but, as a whole, I can’t complain.

The cannon turret measures over 7 cm (2.5 in. ) high, 6 cm (2.5 in. ) wide and 13 cm (5 in. ) deep. Inside the box is a tiny instruction manual and three bags of parts, including the Clone Accessories (rangefinders, visors etc) in a perforated bag.Rather than movies or Star Wars: The Clone Wars, these minifigures originate from Star Wars Battlefront II. The squad is commanded by the 501st Clone Trooper Officer, who includes an adjustable rangefinder, blue belt and printed kama. I can understand avoiding a fabric element here, although the absence of decoration across the sides of the legs is disappointing.

Unfortunately, there is a mistake – be it intentional or unintentional on the box art. All images on the box show the officer with his rangefinder inserted into the lower helmet notch, which is accurate to the in-universe design. LEGO components are dropped, heated, crushed, twisted and carefully analysed to make sure that they comply with strict global safety standardsI assume this is based on the 2017 Battlefront II, because it has nothing to do with the original Battlefront II that I associate with the name. Which makes it a really odd choice for the supposed 20th anniversary celebration of the CWMMP. This buildable toy for kids 6+ years old offers an easy to follow guide and the LEGO Builder app, a digital version with zoom and rotation tools. The LEGO Group's motto is ‘det bedste er ikke for godt’, which roughly translates to "only the best is the best". Ole Kirk Christiansen came up with this phrase to encourage workers to always produce the highest quality toys possible.
