This means that even the most efficient 8,000 BTU units on the market, still lose 2,500 BTUs in rated cooling capacity after accounting for heat loss via ducting and infiltration air. Its compact, portable design packs enough power to cool rooms up to 20 SQM without taking up too much floor space.
Don’t know how I’ve managed without this a/c unit with all warm weather we’ve been having here in the U. With the ability to extract up to 24 litres a day, the powerful dehumidifier setting can help prevent health problems that result from condensation, mould and dampness. It’s a 2 person job getting it upstairs so just be careful, but again the air con has wheels which makes up for it! Check the current pricing on these models, and if they're cheaper than the top rated 8,000 BTU (5,500 SACC BTU) Frigidaire FHPC082AC, consider one of these models instead.Best of all, you can take control of all the functions from anywhere, at any time, using your smartphone. The mounting kit can be installed in most windows, especially horizontal windows not suitable for window-mounted machines. One issue I would recommend the builders change would be to increase the size of the exhaust hose as it doesn't reach out top windows which leaves us trying to put the exhaust out of the door.

As it's clearly advertised about the window attachment I can't mark it down too much but would be nice if they looked into improving this. Using the app allows you to remotely operate the unit whilst away from home and the advanced programming gives you total control and flexibility. I would struggle to work next to it, but can watch TV over it in the room and probably would be able to sleep with it on the same way you would a hoover/fan if it was consistent enough.
