The image of the cow jumping over the moon, on the early packaging, was a nod to the "Hey Diddle Diddle" nursery rhyme, emphasizing Goetze’s choice of “Tales” over “Tails”. Well, Goetze’s used "Tales” instead of "Tails” to hint at the whimsical and nostalgic children's bedtime stories, since this brand is a more youthful and light-hearted take on Caramel Creams®. For those not familiar, Cow Tales ® (not Cow Tails) are a nostalgic treat; an 8″ length of soft caramel and creme filling. They were launched in 1984 with the original vanilla flavor, then due to their popularity they quickly expanded making different flavors and even mini cow tales at a third of the size!
I wonder if there is a way to flavor the cream to taste more like an authentic apple–that would be awesome for October! The photo below shows me with two clients, all attached using slings, and with the slings either under tension or with only a little slack in the system. This is normally easy to do with care, and if you don't have anything else available, always use a sling rather than nothing. I don’t give my dogs chicken necks due to allergies; however, they do enjoy duck necks regularly – I have a freezer full.
