The longer you are able to allow the fabric to remain in the wash/dye cycle the darker the colour and the better the fixation. If you have sensitive skin do take care - as with any dye, they can occasionally cause an allergic reaction. Dyeing may not cover stains, faded areas or bleach marks and polyester stitching generally will not dye so bear that in mind.When the machine has completed the wash cycle allow it to complete the balance of the wash/rinse/spin cycle. Now available in an easy-to-use pod, simply peel off the lid and pop the full pod into the drum of the washing machine with your fabric for permanent colour on natural fabrics at 40°C. Whether you're bringing black back to your favourite socks or you want an uplifting hit of colour, you can be sure of a beautiful finish and permanent results.

If the item to be dyed has been hemmed with man made thread the stitch lines will remain the original colour.

Use with pre-dye is you want to change from one strong colour to another or if you want to achieve a lighter colour. iDye is a hot water dye for any natural fabric that may be used on the stove-top or in the washing machine.Working days are defined as Monday-Friday 8am-7pm inclusive, excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. Add 1 cup (237 ml) of fabric salt for cotton, linen and rayon or a third of a cup (78 ml) of white vinegar for silk.
