We have Frost, our main character who has always wanted to see the world, and her robot servant, Bunt (who also carries the memory and personality of her father, Alex). I don't like / won't read zombie books, but I decided to make an exception with this book because: robots!If you’ve never read a Kate Frost book, then treat yourself as you’ve stumbled across a gem of an author who deserves to have accolades as a regular best-selling author. And then I passed the blue chair in my living room and continued on my way to my bedroom which was down the hall. The last time this happened was the book "The Monstrumologist" by Rick Yancey, and the Fairyland series by Catherynne Valente. Rosie blossoms when she starts to let her walls down, and the supporting characters who eventually become her friends round out the story. Alone since her mother's death, she has one constant her fiancé when he betrays her Ava is heartbroken swearing off love and it’s this decision that paves her way forward.

She is the successful author of the Ugenia Lavender book series in the UK and continues to work with the Royal Commonwealth to promote prospects through literacy to Commonwealth citizens.

It was almost nice to see someone that didn’t give up hope, even though I don’t know how I would have reacted in her shoes. Kozlowsky ( The Dyerville Tales) has built a grim and brutal world that’s in shambles after a robot uprising, and John Lord is a thoroughly creepy villain. Frost is the first instalment of the Frost and Nectar series and let me say that you are in for a treat. The trials are bloody and brutal but then there are your more bachelorette scenes with one on one dinners and dances. Torin – is the typical broody love interest but it’s the tension between the pair of them that really invested me in their relationship.
