About this deal

A dust filter is present both here and on the side and bottom of the H7 Elite to help prevent dust from entering the chassis. That makes the H7 Elite a good value option when compared to the standard H7, but sadly there is no H7 Elite Flow model for those who want the H7 Elite’s add-ons and a perforated front panel.

NZXT H7 Elite review: A gorgeous mid-tower case with plenty

While this wasn't a problem for anyone who wasn't rocking an Intel Core i9 or AMD Ryzen 9 processor, it's a vast improvement that creates a cleaner PC. While it does come at a premium, if you are looking for a case that shows off your new PC build in style, you can’t go wrong with the H7 Elite from NZXT. Following the refresh of its H710 lineup that resulted in the new H7 series, NZXT has now taken aim at its H510 range of cases.I was a big fan of the NZXT H510 Elite, which was the first of the company's modern chassis to introduce a front tempered glass panel as well as a side window.

Compared to the H710i and H510 Elite, the new NZXT H7 Elite is capable of holding up a 360mm radiator on the front panel.

It was clear from the first moment the three models of H7 have been improved, starting with the addition of a Flow model that has a front panel that clearly has the potential to work well. If the H7 Flow bests the H7 Elite with fewer fans, just imagine what would happen if the H7 Flow was upgraded with the H7 Elite’s upgrades. That will come as no surprise but when you refer to our video you will hear the huge changes in noise levels and there are times when the H7 can be very noisy indeed. There are seven expansion card spaces, giving you ample room to fit a range of PCI-E accessories and GPU’s. That said, both cases support the same levels of CPU clearance, front fan/radiator clearance, and cable management space.

There's not a lot that separates the three cases, aside from weight, included fans, and the front panel. The H7 Elite takes things to the next level with RGB lighting, more fans, an integrated fan/RGB controller, and a tempered glass front panel. To test this case, I used the same AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, and Asetek-based 360mm AIO cooler setup used inside other PC cases we review here. Overall, the H5 Elite is a worthy refresh to a case that became incredibly popular with those looking for performance without compromising on aesthetics.
