La Roche-Posay anti-aging facial sunscreen is formulated with Cell-Ox Shield® technology: broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with antioxidants. This product looks white on skin long enough for you to see that you’ve applied it evenly, which I found to be reassuring for a baby sunscreen. I preferred this one to the rest because I couldn’t smell anything when I applied it or after it dried.

A dispersing agent that's used in inorganic (titanium dioxide/zinc oxide based) sunscreens or in make-up products to help to distribute the pigments nicely and evenly on the skin.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if it reflects or absorbs, Titanium Dioxide is a pretty awesome sunscreen agent for two main reasons: it gives a nice broad spectrum coverage and it's highly stable.

ULTRA LIGHT SUNSCREEN FLUID: This 100% mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide was developed for sensitive skin. The itsy-bitsy Nano-sized particles improve both spreadability and reduce the whitish tint a lot, but unfortunately, it also introduces new health concerns. All in all, if you've found a Zinc Oxide sunscreen that you are happy to use every single day, that's fantastic and we suggest you stick with it. According to manufacturer info, it's also a moisturizer and helps to make the product feel great on the skin. This special treatment enables pigments to be evenly dispersed in the formula and to be spread out easily and evenly upon application.

I usually cannot tolerate sunscreen of any sort - chemical agents cause immediate red burning on my skin, and even some physical ones will cause hives and itching. There’s no such thing as a waterproof formula—you do need to reapply it after your child goes swimming or has been sweating—but water-resistant sunscreens do stand up to moisture longer. Product is fragrance free-doesn’t use perfume to cover natural scent-not sure if critics are used to non-organic product. I wasn't able to put it to the test though because it makes your skin REALLY white and (at least for me- I am ivory complected) no amount of foundation or bronzer could correct it. The zinc and titanium dioxide formula is ideal for anyone who doesn't want a chemical sunscreen, or who is pregnant.

Being a 100% mineral sunscreen, a cast is expected but the cast level is very low (in my opinion) among mineral sunscreens. Some of the baby sunscreens I tried took longer to rub in than others; some never seemed to rub in all the way and stayed oily or greasy on my skin.
