It's still great for some giggles, especially if this book was read by a grandparent to their grandchild. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. The font keeps switching on certain words and the size would grow or shrink on other words, and the constant change began to give me a headache. Bad Nana is the unstoppable character taking centre stage in this fabulous new series of illustrated younger fiction from Sophy Henn.This book is absolutely perfect for confident readers looking for their first step into longer books, or as a class or bedtime read for Y2.

This might get a little giggle from some very little kids but it isn't that exciting, the characters don't grow and change that much so it doesn't stay with you, in your heart. I thought this book was great 👍 I also think that even though it was amazing I just couldn’t give it a five star ⭐️ even though I did give it a four star 💫 Overall this is an outstanding book 📖 A little spoiler: BadNana does something a little naughty at the end ! I guess part of the point is that she's not exactly horrendous, she's just nice but naughty sometimes. Henn’s decision to use a fabulous pink neon colour to dominate her lively illustrations fits in perfectly with the content of the stories – Bad Nana’s face when she gets angry, the park keeper’s uniform and Liberace the cat – it works brilliantly. Bad Nana is such a wonderfully cheeky story and I can imagine a five to eight year old (or twenty-three year old) enjoying this as well.But to justify how Jeanie didn't like her younger brother just a little bit was not my favorite part because Jeanie experienced bullies from Georgina and the museum guy, she should know how it feels to be disliked.
