About this deal

Even a double page of the Radio Times schedule with each ghost circling what programmes they will watch really sums them up. When Grace saves his life in a kayaking accident - if it was an accident - and Evan's troubled son arrives to stay, all three are drawn together in a way that forces a reckoning with their personal traumas and draws them back into society.

Also a little disappointing thelat Katy Wix wasn't able to read Mary's sections, very funny character. Loved the little insights we got into each of the ghosts and I was giggling like an idiot in the staffroom while reading this at work. If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links. I mean I already knew it was epic from the brief glance I had at it but I’m so glad it’s on my shelf. The ghosts of Button House may have been dead a long time - some of them a very long time - but they have all left their mark on the world (even if, in Robin’s case, that mark is just a handprint on the wall of a cave). Gathered together in this volume is a treasure trove of unearthed cuttings, original records and rare artefacts that explore the unseen lives of those who died at Button House: from Thomas's love letters to Pat's ‘Summer Camp Rap’, and from Julian's campaign promises to Lady Button's Rules of Etiquette. I loved reading all of Julian’s election leaflets and speeches particularly the two speeches he prepares for if he wins and if he doesn’t win and I loved reading the love letters from Thomas!

Written by the show’s creators – Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond – this eclectic archive is a unique chance to discover more about the beloved ghosts of Button House.Funny, surprising, moving and absolutely worth both reading and listening to, as both formats are uniquely exploited. But as the show ends, publisher Bloomsbury will be publishing a book written by the same gang, Ghosts: The Button House Archives. We get newspaper cuttings of some of Pat’s rather hilarious escapades and transcripts from some of Julian’s rather dodgy dealings and attempts to build his very own swimming pool on expenses… and the addition of the Times TV schedule spread with all of the programmes each of the ghosts have highlighted to watch was a further glorious insight into their personalities.

I loved the use of the TV timetable as an insight to what they think the characters would enjoy watching as well as seeing into several of the characters various correspondences. Written by the show's creators, this eclectic archive is a unique chance to discover more about the beloved ghosts of Button House. He has come to try to process his grief and make himself desirable again as a husband, a father and a business partner. It is the perfect Christmas gift and I'm looking forward to seeing the fans dressed up in their favourite 'Ghosts' costumes for the events. I read the physical book a couple of months ago and never got around to finishing the audiobook until now I am obsessed!Cover images: front © BBC Studios, photography by Steve Schofield, back © Monumental Television, photography by Steve Schofield and Trevor O’Brien. Written by the show's creators Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond this eclectic archive is a unique chance to discover more about the beloved ghosts of Button House. I had a great time with this book and full recommend it as an essential reads for fans of the show and a perfect coffee table book for me to dive into whenever I desire.
