The way I relate so much to both Sebastian and Ziggy, with their fear and their anxiety, and Seb's fear with his celiac disease, I feel seen, but in a good way.For these two major reasons her family shielded her from the outside world since she encountered some misadventures during attending high-school and has always given her the impression that she would irrevocably be trapped in the child role among her family.

Seb has a lot of work he needs to do before he can be anything more than a friend and I love that Chloe Liese showed him working through some of his trauma.

I've loved watching Ziggy's growth throughout the entire series, so finally getting her book was a treat! He’s my devious, dark-haired fantasy come to life, but his destructive ways make it easy to keep him in the (fake) friend zone. Ziggy and Sebastian are complete opposites and seeing them connect and become friends-turned-more, despite their differences, was such a joy to read. And after that, they don't talk again until Ziggy realizes that they're what each other needs—she wants to be seen as more of a badass, and Sebastian needs to recover his public image—and that a fake but public friendship between them might solve their problems. The Bergman Brothers series is one of my favorites and I was so excited to get to the youngest Bergman sibling (Ziggy’s) book.

It’s something so normal in MM romance, yet in MF it feels almost taboo, saying that one of your MCs doesn’t identify as straight.

Instead of non-consensual kisses forced by situations, we got our kisses by pure need of the characters and there was no miscommunication about whether or not they felt something. I want to stick up for myself and say that I deserve the chance to grow into who I’m capable of being—on and off the pitch. Much of the book seemed to drag on and on; meanwhile, the ending was extremely rushed and unsatisfying. Taking into account the luck I’m lately having with MF, I’m out of my mind knowing Chloe Liese gave Ziggy THE romance I’ve been waiting for ages.

And and and all the Bergman family cameos in this one are PURE GOLD like they always, always are in all the books! He has a ruined reputation due to a bar fight and a car accident that resulted in the destruction of a public building.Of course, what started off as being for show developed beautifully into a friendship both of them needed and cherished. If Only You is very slow burn but it works well because the chemistry and friendship Ziggy and Sebastian share is amazing. Ziggy is the youngest sibling in the Bergman family and the youngest member of the National soccer team and as such, she finds she is consistently being babied and underestimated. Due to PIR's fallout with pop audiences at the end of the seventies and again struggling to find a recording suitable to become a major hit for the singer, the album failed to produce hits like her previous four offerings.
