About this deal

There are reviews which say it causes terrible rubbing etc etc which to be honest, if it is right for your dog it will not. This information, which might be about you, your preferences, or your internet device (computer, tablet or mobile), is mostly used to make the site work as you expect it to. Also thought that now i have finn - i just wouldn't be able to cope with 2 dogs pulling me round the park lol (and yes finn is already taking after his mum on this one he'll end up with one as well once he is fully grown - although still plenty of time to try and train him out of it). As for the soreness - doesn't seem to be affecting ebbie at all - maybe cos her fur is so thick, or maybe it's because it's slightly too big so loosens as soon as she doesn't pull.

Google Analytics is a marketing tool that allows us to see how our site is used, for example how many visitors we get and which pages are viewed most. i took him to the vet last week and he said it was rope burn from the Lupi so came away with cream to rub in the sore. was ok with a harness for a while, but then started pulling then got caught in some wire so we didnt use that again, so we tried the head halti, which he was ok with the first day then mad as ever. He's at his worst when he needs a poo in the mornings ( I haven't got a garden, so can almost understand this ) but it still happens when he doesn't.The other day I parked directly opposite the park gate, every time we went to cross the road he'd start pulling so I'd turn back, make him sit on the kerb again for a bit then try again. A particular feature of the HALTI which is not shared by other designs of headcollar, is that it has an on-off muzzling action to close the dog's jaws. I've tried all the usual things: stopping and making him sit, turning back to the car (even putting him back in it) and also walking in a figure 8 . Frontline Combo for dogs is a triple acting parasitic treatment that works on fleas, ticks and biting lice. The walkezee really isn't like a harness, its much better than the halti one because the front strap is not fixed so you have more control over the dog.

This simple figure of eight harness incorporates a special feature that converts the dog's forward movement into an upward lift. It can be used in a number of ways: either as a passive means to simply stop dogs pulling, or as an active training aid. I do find that having the dog on a half choke or choke, my arm still gets tired from the correcting, but with the Walkezee, its not like that. And my god - what a difference - i'm not saying it's all roses - especially when i first put it on, she still does her mental bit and struggles to the door, but once outside - she's a different dog, as soon as she feels the pressure on her chest - she goes slower. A friend's standard poodle though, pulled all his life, 8 years old, they got him a lupi and he goes perfectly in it, as soon as he felt the first little tightening of it he cottoned on, they've tried a choker collar etc and the lupi worked wonders. When I tried going back to a normal collar and lead he fell on his head, he'd got so used to pulling using his shoulders for power with the harness ! This refund is subject to standard bank clearing times and depending on the payment method can take up to 7 working days. This is because the Lupi Harness transforms a forward movement into an upward movement, therefore reducing the pulling.

This simple figure-of-eight harness converts forward motion into an upward lift encouraging the dog to stop pulling. As Jo says, I'm primarily using the harness now to prevent neck injury as it doesn't stop the pulling. The only drawback I can see with them is that being a harness, they do tend to matt up the coat underneath so probably would be no good for those Cockers with heavy coats and/or show dogs. As soon as Jimmy starts pulling towards the park - go straight in the other direction, even if it means he never makes it to the park.HALTI has become the world's favourite canine headcollar because it has been designed to combine maximum steering efficiency with unequalled comfort for the dog. Made in soft black cord 3 Sizes: small, medium, large LUPI HARNESS Many dogs, especially those with short noses, like Pugs and Bulldogs do not easily wear a Halti. Great in almost every way except it needs a toggle to keep the bit that attaches to the lead from slipping back, a knot just won't do if the dog is to wear it to run about off lead. I don't know whether harnesses stop dogs pulling, but they do save dogs from damaging their throats.

It is wider, and has a padded strap around the chest, which is not fixed, your lead attaches to both sides and gives control of the dog. I've had other cocker owners telling me I'm wasting my time even attempting to try and curb pulling cos that's what cockers do. I personally prefer to walk a puppy on a harness until I'm confident that the pup will walk more or less steadily and not suddenly lunge towards/away from something as I'm wary of sudden stresses on young necks.Lot’s of dogs have shorter noses which means restraints like a head collar or muzzle won’t easily fit.
