About this deal

Back Air is another move that we can use to fill in the gaps: Meta Knight can drop from the ledge to Back Air gimp a recovering opponent, and he can also use Back Air as a dragdown to finish off the opponent with a Down Smash. Opposing Amiibo ALWAYS know where MK is when he’s moving around with DCape, and because they see the MASSIVE hitbox of the attack, they’ll do dumb things.

Kirby’s mysterious rival this masked swordsman appears in several Kirbyââہ¾¢ games.Neutral air is a bit strange; it’s really important but shouldn’t be spammed due to its small hitbox.

There MIGHT be a way to get him to consistently get him to land UAir chains, but so far I can only get him to consistently chain 2.

From the weight, to the coloring (none of the ones I picked up had any printing mistakes - and I'm the guy in the story holding up three different versions of the same figure to compare), to the over all aesthetic of the characters is exactly what I look for in Amiibo. As a result, we have to approach Meta Knight not from the perspective of a character with highly technical and precise options, but from the perspective of a character who will die from a single breeze that can only pull off a victory by sumo-wrestling the opponent offstage and into his territory. Mario · Peach · Yoshi · Donkey Kong · Link · Fox · Samus · Wii Fit Trainer · Villager · Pikachu · Kirby · Marth · Zelda · Diddy Kong · Luigi · Little Mac · Pit · Captain Falcon · Rosalina · Bowser · Lucario · Toon Link · Sheik · Ike · Shulk · Sonic · Mega Man · King Dedede · Meta Knight · Robin · Lucina · Wario · Charizard · Ness · Pac-Man · Greninja · Jigglypuff · Palutena · Dark Pit · Zero Suit Samus · Ganondorf · Dr. It has its highly situational uses, but the hitbox is terrible, and it runs the risk of sending the opponent back towards the stage – the amiibo doesn’t differentiate between which side of the hitbox it should use.

The Kirby one is actually bigger and perhaps shows a bit more detail though Meta Knight has a simple enough design that there probably isn’t an advantage there. Despite the AI issues we mentioned above, it’s still a multihit move that builds damage and can reach the opponent from a distance. Again I have no real street cred or performance to back up these notes, but hopefully somebody whose a better trainer than me can do something really cool with this little ball of failure. Meta Knight has no use for an anti-air option because he’s more capable in the air than on the ground.

Next is Shuttle Loop; after the AI uses the attack, it won’t fast-fall back to the stage to minimize its vulnerability. amiibo have different effects depending on the game: you might unlock new modes, weapons or character customisations, or even boost your amiibo’s abilities to turn it into your perfect partner - or a formidable foe! Meta Knight becomes crazy with increased movement speed, which will make him much more threatening to any opponent who dares cross his path.
