I can actually also focus back and forth (around 1-2 meters) with just my eyes, without touching the focus wheel, which is interesting.

As mentioned above, the Olympus Trooper 10x50 provides one of the crispest and clearest images of all of the binoculars tested. For a quick reference, while testing, I personally found these difficult to adjust, and I wear a size Large W's glove and a Small to Medium M's glove. A great field of view, probably equal or better than many other roofs and porros for 10x magnification. They are one of the finest pieces of soviet optics and are very sharp on axis with a huge sweet spot. Once again, the down side to these binoculars is that their large magnifying power results in a shaky image unless you can steady the binoculars while viewing an object.

If you have tried excellent optics bins like nikon monarch, leupold golden ring or swift audobon, probably you may not like this olympus bin.
