With the price point of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 I’d tend to think it’s marketed at the enthusiastic daily runner. Someone who's cruising 30 miles a week. With a stability system that goes above and beyond, it completely makes sense. However, there's a caveat. Brooks says it made a small change this year to the way it manufactures the GuideRails in the shoe. Instead of making each part separately and putting them together afterward, the new process creates the midsole and GuideRail components at the same time for a more cohesive guidance system.Just like the midsole, the outsole didn’t get any appreciable alterations. Both models have the same overall pattern and use the same flex grooves for a natural heel-to-toe transition. So I take the extra 20 seconds to snug up the laces on Adrenaline! They start to loosen slightly about 4.5 miles into a run, and the fit relaxes too much if avoid an extra tug-through at the start (if they’ve been loosened for all-day comfort).
