Teaching about the latest events?

We used tissue paper in beautiful colors like white, yellow, red, green, blue, purple, red and orange tissue paper sheets. Step 2 The freedom to choose and place colored tissues stimulates children’s creativity and self-expression. This is fun for kids of all ages! Patience and Concentration Place the butterfly template on the laminated tissue paper, then trace it with a Sharpie marker. The large butterfly template is pictured below. After the wettest April in a hundred years the sun has finally made an appearance in my part of the world! Yay!!!

Place the butterfly cutout on a paper towel. Use the paintbrush to paint vegetable oil over the entire butterfly. Blot excess oil with a second paper towel. The oil will make the paper translucent, allowing a small amount of diffused light to pass through. To get kids more involved with the cutting stage let them make the holes in the wings using craft punches, or even a hole-punch. Using a light coloured pencil-crayon draw shapes onto the wings of the butterfly (if you use the printable template you can skip this bit). Then using a pair of scissors, or a craft, knife cut out the shapes. Most kids will probably need a hand with this step.

How does a suncatcher work?
