About this deal
This folds down really small into a bag that you can easily carry around thanks to the shoulder strap. It also comes with a nice soft 100% cotton sheet and a self-inflating mattress for added comfort. It’s important to understand both the assembled and folded size of the cot. You need to ensure that you have enough room in your caravan for it to stay when your baby’s sleeping. Higher quality cots will have passed all these regulations, so you’re better off paying a little more for a high-quality cot. Warranty The tent offers some protection from the sun with 50%UV protection but we haven’t tried it as a beach tent yet.
The sides are a bit lower than on the Baby Bjorn so it is slightly easier for shorter people to lower the baby in through the top (and there is the door).
Despite the low weight, this is a decent sized crib so your child will have plenty of space to move around. The mesh sides are seethrough so you can keep an eye on them at all times.
One of the main reasons we still use a travel crib rather than a toddler travel bed is because they can provide protection from mosquitos. When it comes to materials the thing that we really want to know is whether it can be washed or not? And if so, how can it be washed? Is it normal for you to arrive at your destination late at night? If yes, then this is one of the reasons you need to consider how easy it is to assemble the travel cot when you’re ready to use it. You don’t want a cot that’s fiddly and takes 30 minutes of frustration to get into place, especially if you’re in a rush or its late at night. Cost
We think that a travel cot or crib is an essential piece of kit to take with you when travelling with a baby.
