About this deal

This revolutionary technique involves gathering all your precious milk in one place - a big, beautiful pitcher.

But at least you can do it all in one fell swoop, without having to rummage through your fridge like a mad scientist. If you’re mixing a single bottle, make sure to shake it long enough to avoid clumps. Always pay attention to the ratio of formula to water Dr Brown’s Formula Pitcher gets The Formula Mom stamp of approval! It’s a great option for families who want the convenience of prepared formula without the cost of liquid ready-to-feed options. Here’s why Mallory loves it! Clumps in your baby’s formula usually occur from rushed formula preparation. You’re in such a rush to get a bottle prepared for your hungry baby that you don’t mix the formula and water properly. Halfway through the feed, the nipple gets clogged with a clump, and you have to interrupt feeding time to fix it or attach a new nipple.

Whether you’re mixing your formula in a pitcher or bottle by bottle, it’s important to get it right every time.Read the directions on your baby formula. Prep before starting your baby formula Last thing is that you definitely CAN combine milk from multiple days into one pitcher. Just remember that milk is good in the fridge for about 3 days. And you have to count from the day of the earliest milk in the pitcher. So if I have milk from Monday and Tuesday in a pitcher or bottles- I need to use it all by Wednesday. If I don’t- no problem! Then I just need to freeze it on Wednesday. Price: This is one of the most cost-effective baby products around, particularly with regard to cost for value. This nursing bra is the absolute BEST for breastfeeding at night. It’s super comfortable and made of the softest material ever. You’ll want to wear it forever to sleep in, even after you’re done breastfeeding.

While lots of parents use formula pitchers or prepare formula in advance other ways, it is recommended to make each bottle right before feeding it to your baby if possible. 1 However, it is only safe to leave formula at room temperature for up to 1 hour once prepared. After that, prepared baby formula can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. 2 How long can formula be in the fridge? Like I said above- I would put milk from Monday’s 7 pm pump through Tuesday’s 3 pm pump into the same pitcher. Because I wanted to go to bed ASAP after baby went to bed instead of waiting for the 7 pm milk to cool. So I always had multiple days milk together. But it was never a problem because at the end of every day I made the bottlesfor the next day and then froze the rest, so milk is never in the fridge for more than 2 days with that system. So, grab this pitcher, pour in that liquid gold, and take a well-deserved break from the bottle juggling madness. CDC recommends you can combine 3 days, on the 4th day everything must be frozen and labeled with the earliest date. Milk should be the same temp. I usually leave it in the fridge for 15 minutes and then combine.” What I found most helpful was considering a day from my second to last pump from one day until the second to last pump the next day because I wanted to go to sleep ASAP after the baby went to sleep and not have to wait until my milk cooled down to add it to the pitcher. I was an over producer, so this was easier for me than it might be for some people. But essentially, if my second to last pump was at 3 pm and then my last pump of the day was 7 pm- then I would fill up a new pitcher starting with the 7 pm pump. So, to hopefully make that more clear- after my 7 pm pump, I would put the 7 pm milk into a clean pitcher (remember I had 2 pitchers). Since no other milk was in that clean pitcher, I could just transfer the milk into there directly off the pump at 7 pm. And then I would take the milk from the full pitcher (which was the milk from 7 pm the day before until 3 pm that day) and used that to fill up the next day’s bottles and then freeze the leftovers, and then clean the pitcher.Just kidding, at the end of the day, or whenever your container is full, you prepare the next day's feeding bottles using the milk collected.
