About this deal

So far so good, we started opening and setting up on the grass, from there we decided the more level concrete slab would be a better & cleaner area to set the pool on so we drained the little we did fill in a few min and it went up on the patio fairly easily and in a matter of minutes. After huffing and puffing for the first 5 min. I was able to get the upper support ring at the top/rim inflated. From there I smoothed out the bottom of the heavy vinyl liner and started to fill, during the first 15 min I gently stretched out the vinyl liner gently smoothing it out as it filled, the first 10-15 min is fine, after that the weight of the water will be too much to be able to stretch out the liner bottom any further.

Into the second year, and holding together well. Comfy! Not for swimming, but great for getting wet. Good size for a few smaller kids and/or 1-2 big ones. (I got it for me.) Intex's beautiful Easy Set Pools will ensure that you enjoy seasons of garden family fun! Intex have brought years of enjoyment to millions of people around the world. Their high quality, easy to assemble pools are the best value on the market today. A pool can be installed ready for filling with water within 10 minutes.

All in all It took about 30-40 min to completely fill the pool to the top rim. While filling you will need to get those hoses in place as the water rises to the area the hose ports are it will start to drain out the hoses unless the hoses are attached with the clamps provided to the pump etc. the entire thing is fairly simple to hook up, take your time identifying the pump hose parts listed in the instructions as they are illustrated very small and a little difficult to identify, once you understand the sequence/route for the hoses it should be fairly easy to finish up.

Have your kids grown out of that wading pool? The Intex 6-Foot Easy Set Pool is perfect for kids all set The pump actually works nicely which was a surprise. I usually keep it disconnected as I don't like the hoses in the yard, or running a extension cord out to the pool. But when I hook it up it circulates the water well. Its surprisingly easy to attach - each hose has a plastic ring that can be tightened by hand. You end up hooking up 3 hoses to the pool and the other ends to the pump, so 6 hose clamps in all. The pump from my last pool still works so they last at least one summer. I have nothing bad to say about the pool, it is still going strong, the leaks at the hoses are very minimal and the filter is what it is. I would recommend buying this pool to someone who has a small area, doesn't want to spend a lot of time keeping it up, and has young kids or just wants something to relax in and cool off. This is a soft-sided pool. The air ring at the top keeps the fabric above the water. The pool is pretty sturdy when filled up to the ring. It gets a bit squishy if it has less water in it, but still holds the water. You cannot sit on the sides - this will allow water to pour out. You can lean up against the inner edge but the shape of the pool side really doesn't give you much support, so if you are bigger than a kid you may not find it comfortable. It's nice for cooling off after cutting the lawn, or for when my rent-a-niece visits with my Bro From Ano, Mo. I use mine as a turtle pond - yes that darling little turtle my daughter brought home grew up (its huge). As long as its warm enough outside, she lives in the pool. Vinyl still seems sturdy. I expect a few years from it, for the money. Good starter... I did upgrade my filter to the smallest sand filter I could find. World of difference. Expect to add a vacuum and skimmer too, to keep it more effortlessly clean. Or you can just make a whirl-pool... Small pool stays nicely warm enough. If you put the pool on a foam base (I used 4x8 foam insulation sheets) if makes it easier to stretch the bottom and make sure it is even and without wrinkles. The pool has to be on a level surface and you need to get those wrinkles out.
