About this deal

Louise’s channel content, like the creator herself, is upbeat and feel-good. Louise faces life’s challenges head on and refuses to be defeated. Suddenly, I get a message in my private inbox from Louise’s private account on Facebook, not her work professional one that her management looks over but her personal, private account she has family members on, not to mention other things she may not want discovered by the public. Louise also kept it real the majority of the time, and it was clear that being a new mother leaves little time for things like fashion and makeup. She stayed true to her passion and continued to share beauty, fashion, and lifestyle advice. She frequently worked with other YouTubers during the process. In 2014 she began Q&A sessions with her viewers at YouTube conventions named Glitter Time. On 2 November 2014 she performed a pilot of her LouiseLIVE stage show in Northampton, her home town, and went on to take it on tour around the UK. [16]

Louise. I am disappointed. Not just in the book ever so slightly, but in the reaction to mild constructive critique I gave on Facebook, which ended up in a terrible unprofessional reaction from the author herself. If you don’t wish to know anymore please scroll by, as I feel it is important to inform people. She paid special attention to her size category, and her fashion advice was primarily focused on fashion for plus-sized women, particularly plus-sized pregnant women, who frequently struggle to maintain a fashionable lifestyle while pregnant. Gibbons, Lottie; Windham, Daniel (6 November 2021). "Famous faces you didn't realise studied at Liverpool universities". Liverpool Echo . Retrieved 21 March 2022. I lost interest a bit in some of the story in the second half, but overall I feel that it's a fun read which I enjoyed, and I think this will be a popular read. The story itself is easy to read and, at times, really funny. There were parts that really made me laugh, and parts that were a little more serious. The novel focuses a lot on main character Robin's emotions, which can often be quite up and down, and I liked that these emotions were not something to be excused or apologised for. However I wasn't sure that Robin's mental health was just due to her being lonely without a man in her life; this felt a bit too 'simple', and Robin was also so preoccupied with worrying that Lyla might be negatively affected because she's is a single mum which is a shame. I suppose that's what Robin feels is the opinions of society and I'm sure many other people sadly feel this pressure too (I don't have any kids so I guess I can't comment on this), but it feels a bit outdated. So I have been advised to post somewhere where Louise Pentland cannot delete posts from people who aren’t 100% “good eggs” and positive. I have also messaged her management regarding her passive aggressive messages and unprofessional behaviour, from an account that outs her family members who do not want to be in the spotlight like her. A thoroughly uplifting book that lends gentle guidance and shares the rawest, realest times in her life... so far! Chapman, Sophie (25 September 2011). Similarly, she is an inspiration to millions of women all over the world in embracing their plus-sized bodies and instilling the belief that just because you are curvy does not mean you can’t enjoy fashion and beauty. She is never afraid to be vulnerable in front of her audience, and she has shared both her darkest and brightest moments with them. I do have to give a special mention to David and his and Tabbys relationship. While I didn’t like David from that first homophobic comment , I could understand why Tabby kept forgiving him , their relationship was so well written that I actually didn’t know how it was going to end up. I am so glad Tabby did leave him. It was refreshing to read about a relationship that wasn’t a good fit , without any extreme violence. I think it shows the strength of Louise Pentlands writing that she was able to convey perfectly how wrong this relationship was for Tabby , without needing to rely on a wild story line that ended up with David in jail and Tabby in witness protection or something ( although I do love a wild story like that sometimes , there’s a time and a place) She is the poster girl for plus-size women and has been an outspoken supporter of women of all body types. She has cast herself flawlessly in the various roles she has taken on, and her channels have undergone a completely daring makeover over the years, which the viewers have enthusiastically embraced. The prologue was smiley and left me with a couple of thoughts - who is this perfect man and can he teach my husband how to do romance 😏.

This is absolutely not a ghost written, cash-cow YouTuber book. Louise covers so many topics, spanning everything from loss to childhood abuse. I found myself welling up at times - particularly when she was talking about her innocent perception of a hospice when she was a child visiting her dying mother. I know that sentence isn't grammatically correct lol but it's just to give an example of what the writing style in the book is like) This was a library book so I *could* have stopped reading after the first few chapters. I *should* have stopped reading but I hoped it would get better. Hoped IN VAIN - I must be a glutton for punishment. And it kept not getting better. I ended up skimming most of this - it was just really disjointed and trying to hard to create tension/story - which just came off making Robin seem like a whiny, self-centred, insecure, vapid/vain bore. I get why dippy Simon left her.... I’ve been following her videos on and off for years, always a bit unsure why I was into her family life content when I’d been so sure I don’t want kids myself for so long. But listening to this confirmed to me the intuition I’d had for a while.

 Career line of Louise Pentland
