About this deal

Someone who ends your friendship without a discussion so he can get laid and then pretends not to know you and treats you like a potential hookup in an extremely creepy way years later does not deserve a second chance. I don't care how much you miss him/used to have a crush on him. Especially since, as this newly reformed relationship develops, it's clearly only based on looks. As Dane said, Thea was flat as a board when he stopped being her friend, but since she's curvy and hot now, he's more than happy to date her and be in her life again. Everything felt shallow and pretty pathetic. Two hot people with uncles in the same gang finally get to hook up after being around each other for a year. Apparently, it's love. Pretty average and not worth looking into further. The premise is basically like “My Best Friend’s Wedding”. Emily and Austin have been best friends forever, and they share the same birthday and always celebrate together. On their 21st birthday they made a pact that if they weren’t in a relationship by the time they are 35 then they would marry each other. How is that Max Monroe can write a novella that is basically two chapters and still make me laugh and swoon? It was so short, but felt complete. That’s not to say I wouldn’t want more of this story. I totally would! Forced to reach out to her last resort, Beyah has to spend the remainder of her summer on a peninsula in Texas with a father she barely knows. Beyah’s plan is to keep her head down and let the summer slip by seamlessly, but her new neighbor Samson throws a wrench in that plan.

With warring personalities and conflicting goals, Morgan and Clara find it increasingly difficult to coexist. The only person who can bring peace to the household is Chris—Morgan’s husband, Clara’s father, and the family anchor. But that peace is shattered when Chris is involved in a tragic and questionable accident. The heartbreaking and long-lasting consequences will reach far beyond just Morgan and Clara. I enjoyed this one, but I wanted more from it. It just gave me a little taste and didn’t feel like a full rounded novella. Contributing authors: Aileen Erin, Alessandra Torre, Chanda Hahn, Charleigh Rose, Colleen Hoover, Dominique Laura, Eric R. Asher, Ilsa Madden-Mills, Jennifer Wilson, Jessica Hawkins, Jewel E. Ann, K. West, Tijan, Willow Aster Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to lovewith that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory. SOMETHING LIKE KISMET BY GINGER SCOTT➯ 1 STAR. I feel terrible giving something only one star when it was done for charity...but this was just plain awful. These characters were supposed to be seniors in high school and they acted like twelve-year-olds.Way too short to achieve anything. It must be a short story from an already existing world - otherwise, half of it doesn't make sense and serves no purpose without context. It's not even enough of a window into the world to want to look into it and read more. I think this is a short story from an already-existing series/universe, so I did feel a little out of the loop. While it made me want to read the existing book(s), it also included a lot of spoilers, so I'm a little on the fence here. With only two short months separating her from the future she’s built and the past she desperately wants to leave behind, an unexpected loss leaves Beyah with no place to go during the interim.

Not only do I love her success for what it’s doing for the romance genre, but I also just love her story of success. Okay, that was creepy. The last few stories in this anthology are majorly twisted (and as someone who loves a dark narrative, it's not in a good way), and this does not leave it on a high note.Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.
