So again, are “highly sensitive persons” (HSP’s, for short) the same as burden bearers? Not exactly, although there is some overlap. It’s easy to confuse the two because burden bearers are also highly sensitive. But HSP’s and burden bearers are sensitive in different ways. In HSP’s, the five senses are heightened. They keenly observe facial expressions, body language, tone of voice, etc., which enables them to be keenly empathetic. Burden bearers sense in their spirit what others feel, which enables them, as well, to be highly empathetic. Burden bearers are easily overwhelmed by what they sense in their spirit, such as others’ troubled emotions or the negative feel of a building or location. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.” Do people often come to you with difficult problems and questions from the Bible, seeking your insight because they know you will have the answer or find it?

HSP’s are seen as perceptive and insightful because, through their heightened five senses, they notice what others miss. Even as children they may have been seen this way.Do you that when you counsel people, God the Spirit gives you wisdom to share with them from Scripture, which they accept as God’s truth to them through you?

People with the Gift of Helps/Service tend to demonstrate a servant attitude, loyalty, attention to detail, and responsiveness to the initiatives of others. They function well in positions of detail and assistant leadership. Majority of Christians are struggling because they can’t get to the frequency that God is communicating with them. Fasting fine tunes your frequency to the frequency of the Holy Spirit. Burden bearers have the same issues, but it is what they sense in the hearts of others who praise, criticize, or conflict with them that magnifies the joy and the pain.The spiritual gifts differ from natural talents (e.g., musical ability, creativity, athletic prowess, computer skills) in that one is given at new birth and the other is given at birth. People with the Gift of Giving genuinely view their treasures, talents, and time as on loan from God and not their own. They are often moved to meet the physical needs of others. They enjoy giving of themselves and what they have. Even if they do not possess the resources to help, they earnestly pray for those needs to be met. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.”
