About this deal

I love highlighters and wear them all year round. When I think of highlighters I think about Becca Cosmetics. In my opinion they make one of the best highlighters on the market. They offer three formulas for their highlighters in liquid, pressed or poured form. Talc, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isostearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Silica, Boron Nitride, Nylon-12, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Paraffin, Microcrystalline Wax, Tin Oxide, Polyethylene, Magnesium Stearate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Polyethylene Terephthalate, Acrylates Copolymer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Potassium Sorbate. May Contain (+/-): Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Iron Oxides (Ci 77491), Mica, Iron Oxides (Ci 77499), Iron Oxides (Ci 77492), Carmine (Ci 75470), Manganese Violet (Ci 77742), Ultramarines (Ci 77007), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Ferric Ferrocyanide (Ci 77510), Chromium Oxide Greens (Ci 77288), Chromium Hydroxide Green (Ci 77289), Bismuth Oxychloride (Ci 77163), Aluminum Powder (Ci 77000), Blue 1 Lake (Ci 42090), Bronze Powder (Ci 77400), Red 40 Lake (Ci 16035). The consistency was soft, a little dusty, but smooth and blendable on my skin. I still find the texture of the formula to seem a bit drier compared to the one years ago (like in 2013), though the actual color, application, and effect on my skin looks the same. It applied evenly and didn't emphasize my skin's natural texture. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

As you can see by the swatches Becca Opal is slightly more golden and darker than Becca Champagne Pop that has peachy undertones.Becca is a cruelty-free brand. Neither they, nor their suppliers test ingredients or finished products on animals. They also don’t have third parties test on their behalf and they don’t sell their products in countries where animal testing is required by law. Becca is owned by Estee Lauder who is not a cruelty-free brand. Step 2: Lightly glide the brush, starting from your cheek’s high points and move up towards the temple and brow.

Combining liquid with colour pigments, this creamy formula delivers results which feel velvety soft on the skin and won’t cake or smudge. Mask-like effects are banished through the use of multi-toned ingredients which work to boost the natural features of the face. It is applied in a light, silky layer for luxurious skin protection. Apply BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter to the face with the fingertips, targeting those areas where you’d like to create a healthy glow.• Own Your Glow with BECCA's iconic highlight – find the shade that makes you glow: A makeup highlighter provides instant radiance, elevating dull skin. Even though mascara and concealers can lift the looks, highlighters work an extra mile. This is why you need the best BECCA highlighter that gives a lift to the overall face providing glow like never before. The BECCA highlighters effectively highlight facial features like nose bridge, forehead, cheekbones, eyelids, and cupid brows. These highlighters catch the light and create an illusion by brightening the high points for enhanced beauty of your facial structure. Yes, Champagne Pop from Becca cosmetics is good for every skin tone, including pale skin. This peachy-pink hue neutralizes the pink undertones in the skin to lend an even and radiant complexion. Liquid highlighters are lightweight and have a creamy texture. They are sheer and give your skin a subtle glow, while also providing all-day moisture. They are suitable for dry, combination, or mature skin types. Liquid formulations can also be mixed with your favorite foundation for a luminous appearance.Talc, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isostearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Silica, Boron Nitride, Nylon-12, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Paraffin, Microcrystalline Wax, Tin Oxide, Polyethylene, Magnesium Stearate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Polyethylene Terephthalate, Acrylates Copolymer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Potassium Sorbate. Smashbox is introducing four new shades of Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter on June 1st. The original was Champagne Pop—and the new colors are: I was quite impressed with the staying power. After wearing it for about 11 hours, I come home from work with still a hint of a glow on my cheekbones, although it’s slight and nowhere near as strong as it was when I first applied – I do feel like the Pressed version has a stronger highlight at the 11-hour mark. Like most cream products, I feel like this will likely be more long-wearing on those with dry skin (like me) than those with oily skin. When deciding, I would think about what types of products you use most often and what level of coverage you would want to have most of the time. If you have drier skin, you may prefer the liquid or cream versions. If you have oilier skin, the cream or powder versions may appeal more. If you don’t like a lot of shimmer or want something that can easily be used all-over, I think the liquid is best. If you love shimmer and the more reflective the better, the powder is an excellent choice. I think the colors are fairly consistent across the board, particularly once applied to the skin, with the liquid versions giving the least amount of color due to their deliberately sheer quality.

The formula of this highlighter is much too stiff to be able to use with most brushes, but I imagine that a very dense stippling brush may be able to get the job done. I’ve found that the best (and recommended) way to apply this highlighter is with your fingers. I swirl my ring finger around the product, and then I swipe it along my cheekbone area. Using my middle and ring finger, I then blend it all out, and the highlighter is so easy to work with and blend out. Rinse and repeat, until I get my desired amount of glow. Left: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Moonstone. They look very similar on the fingers even though they look significantly different on the cheekbones I’ve learned that there are a few ways you can use this, which I’ve tried to see which I like best:- WHO WILL LIKE THIS: Anyone who does not like highlighters that are very obviously shiny, Anyone who wants a multi-purpose highlighter product that gives skin a glow instead of shine

From Our Partners

If I had to sum up my thoughts on the pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors I’d have to admit they’re not my absolute favorite formula of pressed highlighter. Like I mentioned earlier, I prefer the liquid version (which seems to have been discontinued, WHY???😭😭😭). I gravitate toward a smooth and seamless powder like the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter or the highlighter in theBalm’s Will Powder Palette. Some of the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are just too sparkly or thin for my liking.
