The book had a great storyline, it was romantic, super steamy, and I liked the fact that in this storyline the Mannford brothers were the “good” guys and Winston Constantine wasn’t. It shows how everything has two sides and that being a villain in someone else’s story doesn’t always mean a character has to be a villain in their own.

As brothers there was a level of incestuous behaviour that was a bit 🤧, which is why I was ultimately pulling for her to end up with one. Why are you happy to share her… all of their bodies touching whilst making love to her… sorry but it’s really not hot when you deep it 😭 I admired Landry so much. She’s so loyal and protective. She is selfless and puts herself second to her sister, Della.

Starting off with the first book, Triple Threat, we are introduced to media heiress Landry Croft. Having grown up surrounded by wealth and privilege, Landry has been groomed to be everything her dad demands her to be. Though nothing is what it seems, behind the perfect facade that’s supposed to be her life, darkness lurks filled with secrets and nightmares. Landry is a pretty doll living in a golden cage, but she has a plan to leave her life once and for all. Yet, she what wasn’t expecting for her plans to take a different turn the minute she meets, Ford Mann. He is everywhere she goes, and although she senses something off about him, Landry can’t help but to trust him fully. The attraction is there and the more time she spends with him, the more she yearns for her live to be different. It would take for her life to be at stake for her to truly find out what Ford has been keeping from her all along. But which brother was most possessive over her? Territorial? Ready to fight his brothers when he realised they were also intimate with her…

Deception is the duet that includes Triple Threat and Death Wish. I absolutely loved this book! It grabbed my attention from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down! My heart was breaking for Landry and everything that she had gone through. And Della, having to know your father hates you because you have a disability! Heartbreaking! But her sassy attitude was fun to see and I really hope she gets her own story some day! I loved the growth that Landry had through the story. The guys really helped her discover how strong she truly was. They might have saved her but she also saved them! They might have been a ruthless trio but the way they were with the sisters was what won me over for them!

Sully, sparrow and Scout are total villains but omg, the steam 👀. Like this book has the hottest scenes ever. These three triplets sure know their way around. We even see a few cameos from our favorite midnight dynasty characters and I am so happy to meet them again! Scout, Sparrow and Sully make the perfect trio. Each one given a job to infiltrate the family, they see what really goes on behind closed doors. When they start coming to tutor Della, Landry meets them — even though she believes it’s only one person. Death Wish is part of the Midnight Dynasty series, a multi-author collaboration and the Terror Triplets were introduced in the Cinderella trilogy. While it’s not strictly necessary to have read those books, there will be spoilers for them. Death Wish completes the Deception Duet and must be read following Triple Threat.
