Occasionally, it went into anti-freeze mode to stop frost from building up in the machine – this meant the AC would temporarily switch off while the fan remained on, so while I could sleep through silent mode no problem, this slight change of noise disturbed my sleep once or twice. Oh god, yes. My bedroom remained a comfortable 18°C (18°C!). I slept with a duvet. It was perfect. One slight niggle is that the LED control panel remains illuminated in silent mode, so if you’re used to sleeping in complete darkness, that may grate, but it didn’t interfere with my sleep.
