In essence, the Intel Core i7-12700 is the one to get for maximum performance. If you are more about efficiency then look for either the Intel Core i7-12700T or the ultra efficient mobile processor, the Intel Core i7-1255U which is in by one of the desktop manufacturers below. It only takes 13-15W of power at typical TDP and maxes out at 55W (TDP Up). Another HP, here we have the HP AIO 27 with a smaller HP AIO 24 also available. The utilitarian looking all-in-one desktop brings plenty to the table in terms of specification. Powered again by Intel Core i7-1165G7 it is not short on processing cycles and together with a generous 16GB memory and dual storage solution, its your perfect do it all companion. That's the good news as far as the display goes. The bad news is that 1080p resolution isn't quite enough to produce a sufficiently sharp picture across the 27-inch panel—when you're seated in front of the screen, the edges of application windows and text characters appear blurry. The resolution is adequate if you're buying the Inspiron 27 as an entertainment system—1080p videos look crisp—but I wouldn't want to spend a full day doing productivity work in front of the display. It's a shame that Dell doesn't offer a display upgrade in the form of a 1440p or other higher-resolution panel; the old iMac's 5K pixel array isn't necessary, but something between full HD and 4K would be a good fit for this screen size. The Inspiron 27 is not slow in day-to-day tasks but is not suited to more demanding applications like photo or video editing. It’s also a terrible choice for games. This will limit its appeal to those who only use a computer for document editing, web browsing, and retro gaming. Apple's 2021 update to the iMac brought us a colorful, 24-inch version of the popular all-in-one, now equipped with Apple's own M1 processor chip. The new, extra-thin design comes with a variety of color options, but the real star here is the 4.5K, 4480 x 2520 resolution screen for incredibly distinct images (not to mention 100% in the sRGB ranges and 90% in the AdobeRGB range for color). Look for a large, detailed display. This is one of the great advantages of all-in-ones, especially if you have specific visual requirements for your work/play and you won’t be able to replace the display later like you can with other PCs. Look for around 24 to 27 inches to start with and 4K resolution if you have any interest in a higher resolution. Some are touchscreens, but this feature isn’t always important on an all-in-one. The mouse is the better of the pair. It’s a simple and comfortable, compact device with three buttons and a scroll wheel. Nothing special, but it did the job. An entry-level Logitech mouse, like the M325 Wireless Mouse, is a better choice with superior materials and more buttons—but the bundled mouse is fine.Dell's most recent Inspiron AIO PC showcases an HD 27-inch InfinityEdge screen that transitions to a more compact display and slender bezels. Behind this display are the most current Core i7-1355U processor by Intel, 16GB of RAM, and a PCIe NVMe SSD with a storage capacity of 512GB (along with a 1TB storage hard drive). The configurations also include Nvidia’s subtle GeForce MX550, which opens up casual gaming and basic 3D rendering-. Sub-par bundled peripherals are common among mid-range, all-in-one computers. Still, it would be better to have a good keyboard in the box; immediately tossing it out in favor of another new keyboard is a waste of money, cardboard, and plastic. Unfortunately, the Core i7-1255U falls behind in multi-threaded workloads, reaching just 5132 in Geekbench 5’s multi-threaded test. That’s far behind the Acer Aspire TC’s score of 7284, and merely ties the Lenovo Yoga 6, which scored 5105.
Some competitors, like the HP Pavilion 27 and Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i offer similar wired connectivity. Still, the range of ports on the Inspiron 27 is excellent for the price. To keep its costs down, it come with both wired keyboard and wired mouse but it does mean maximum value for your money. Choose the operating system you like. Apple’s iMacs are some of the best all-in-ones around, but you may need to shop for a different option if you prefer the Windows operating system, and vice versa.

As with the HPs on our list, you can push the Envy up to the highest specification below, doubling the memory and opting for the RTX 2070 instead. At the time of writing, UserBenchmarks place Intel Core i7-11700 at around one third faster than Intel Core i7-1165G7 achieving an average score of 35% faster when compared to Intel Core i7-1165G7. Thankfully, Dell includes a wireless keyboard and mouse rather than a wired pair that clutters your desk. Both peripherals are white to match the rest of the system. The keyboard is compact and the optical mouse is ambidextrous; both are serviceable if no match for Logitech's or Microsoft's best. Why you should buy this: It's the most powerful iMac that Apple has ever released, and the new color options are striking. As mentioned, the Inspiron 27 All-in-One features a 27-inch display with full HD resolution, available with or without touch support. We received the touch panel, which usually means a glossy overlay that creates distracting glare and annoying reflections. I'm pleased to report that the Dell's touch screen doesn't suffer from such maladies. The finish does an admirable job fighting glare and reflections, helped by the fact that the display is considerably brighter than average (I measured it at 450 nits). Colors appeared vivid and rich with good contrast; Dell says the panel covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut. All Dell Inspiron 27 models have a 1080p display. The base model has a matte, non-touch screen, but the model I tested had a glossy touchscreen upgrade.
