Simply preheat the oven to a maximum temperature of 240ºC or more and put the stone there for about 30-45 min. Slim White Porcelain side plate for a fresh salad, portion chips or even slice of meat and serve on the side so you can sizzle when you're ready Ideally, when it comes to alcohol burners, you must preheat the stone in the oven or direct flame and then use the burners to maintain the temperature for longer.

A lot of our successful venues will only serve Fillet Steak on the Stone, not that the other steaks aren’t also great, but if customers want the Sizzling Experience and the only Steak available on here is the Fillet, then that’s what they will have and guess what, your margins improve.

We must clarify that the main function of alcohol burners is to maintain the temperature of the stone and NOT to heat the stone from 0. We are proud that our products comprise the very best natural and man-made components available to us. The board is made of Bamboo (interestingly a grass, not wood) which is not only one of the Earths strongest natural materials, but also an environmentally sustainable and entirely renewable material of which we are proud. The stones themselves are, naturally, renewable, and cut from the best sourced lava stone with a honed finish, the best finish from which to enjoy Steak on the Stone. Other featured components are quality stainless steel and ceramic, both built to last. This type of stones just need to be plugged into the electric outlet and you need to wait a few minutes. though from my own experience and from what others have told me, electrical resistances do not get to get very high temperatures. What type of stone can I use to use to grill meat?: Marble, granite, soapstone, slate, lava stone,…? A wide range of produce can be cooked on the stone so you can create exciting, fresh, and delicious meals

If you buy a stone that comes with its base or handles, but without burners, keep in mind that once preheated and later put on the table, you will have a limited time to cook. A lava stone without burners has about 20 minutes of optimal temperature to be able to cook, other types of stones (marble, granite, soapstone, slate, …) can have less time. In restaurants, when a stone cools off and the diners have not finished eating, the waiters usually change it and put another hot stone they have prepared, so the customers can continue eating. There are a variety of ways to heat your steak stone to required temperature before serving, this can be achieved by. After use your SteakStones should still be handled with care using oven gloves as they will remain hot for over an hour. The best way to clean them is to place in a sink with warm water and leave for around 20mins, after which time you will be able to simply wipe the surface clean. Our SteakStones scraper is the simplest way to do this with just a couple of swipes. Finely dice the jalapeño, red onion, and avocado. Chop cilantro. Once the corn and tomatillos are cool enough to handle, cut corn kernels off cob and large-dice the tomatillos.

For maximum flavor, you’ll make homemade cowboy tallow out of beef tallow, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, dijon mustard, chopped parsley, jalapeño purée, fresh ground pepper, cayenne powder, and kosher salt. Simply put the stone on the fire for about 5-15min, depending on the size of the stone and the potency of the flame. However, if you buy a cooking stone with burners (alcohol or gas), we can guarantee you that the stone will always be hot to cook, because the burners will help you maintain the temperature.

Combine the peeled tomatoes with ½ garlic clover, 2 Tbsp. olive oil, a sprig of oregano, and a pinch of salt, and blend. For optimal use your SteakStones need heating to between 280-350 degrees Celsius (approx 540 -660 Fahrenheit). Domestically this can be achieved on the hob or stove (20-30 mins) under the grill (30-40) mins, in the oven (40 mins) or even on the barbecue. Commercially we strongly recommend our Oven Range as these provide the simplest, most compact way of heating large numbers of stones at a time. Needless to say the stones will only take in the maximum heat of your chosen method, but every home will be able to accommodate at least one of the methods above. Once you’re happy heating them, you can experiment with the ideal heat for what you’re cooking and how you like it served. Honestly, if you want the perfect steak, this method might not be what you’re looking for. The sear on these steaks was not amazing, but it was a great way to add some razzle dazzle to the cooking process. Overall, it was my least favorite way to cook in the series thus far, but hey, it’s worth it if you’d like to try something new! Plus you can’t really go wrong with a juicy steak. Just lower your usual expectation of a nice crust.

Preheat your grill to high heat. You’ll want the grill to be as hot as possible so the stone can absorb as much heat as possible. Place the stone on the grill and close the lid. Let the stone heat up for 20-30 minutes, so it has time to absorb all of the heat from the grill. Once the stone is heated, it’s ready to use! Just cook your food as usual, and keep an eye on it, so it doesn’t burn. Heating On Oven The stones are washed in water with a metal wire brush and then heated again to burn off any natural juices left on the surface of the stone.

There are stones of different sizes and depending on the number of people who will eat, we will have to choose one size or another. Don’t try to rush it by using too much heat at once. If you do all these things, you should have no problem heating your grilling stone on the stove. Heating On Grill Transfer the pizza to a pizza peel. Alternatively, you can roll out the dough directly on floured baking paper and then transfer the paper directly to the stone. If Chef isn’t having to cook the main ingredient, you save time and money on meal preparation and your kitchen can then improve other elements of your food offering to elevate the entire experience of your guests and deliver more returning customers. The advantage of buying a cooking stone without burners, is that you avoid some risk of any possible fire outbreak on the table. The disadvantage would be the time limitation of 20 minutes (lava stone) when getting an optimum temperature for cooking, though if you have a spare stone, this should not be a problem. If your SteakStones Lava Stones are fully heated following the instructions above they will remain sizzling hot for between 20-30mins, so you’ll likely run out of meat before you run out of heat! The stones will still be cooking for up to 50mins from serving and too hot to handle without protective oven gloves for over an hour. Pull lava stone off the heat and add a cast iron skillet with some beef tallow. Add your minced garlic to brown for 2 minutes. Then add the rest of the Cowboy Tallow ingredients to simmer over the heat for 1-1.5 minutes. Our Lava Steak Stones Set is the perfect way to enjoy the benefits of hot stone cooking and individual platters make a simple dinner party sizzle either indoors or out, with each guest having their own unique meal experience. SteakStones do a better job than celebrity chefs at giving your guests a reason to return because of the sensory experience; it sounds great, looks great, smells great and tastes fantastic and your customers will want to bring others to show off this great meal. The meals you can enjoy on our products are endless and as such our products are designed as mix of individual and sharing platters.
