A társast, a könnyebb tanulhatósága miatt, akár már 8 éves kortól ajánljuk kipróbálni. Kooperatív jellegű, a játékmenet erősen épít a moduláris tábla, a váltakozó képességek, a rács mozgás, a solitaire és a szcenárió / küldetés / kampány mechanizmusokra. Magic Maze is a real-time cooperative game in which you try to help four fantasy characters steal some adventuring equipment from a shopping mall and escape before time runs out. Oh, and you can’t talk! There’s a lot to like about Magic Maze and the mechanics with the restriction rules work so well and make it the game it is. It surprisingly better to play than expected! Ezzel együtt szoktam figyelni a kiadói akciókat és dolgokat. A Magic Maze -t mégis inkább a szerencsének köszönhetően vettem meg, hiszen hát A Föld javított kártyáit valamivel kísérve csak el kellett hoznia a GLS-nek a Gémklub-ból :D Feleségem nézett is nagyot hogy 5 darab kártyának mekkora a doboza :)

The gem of a twist with this game is how it’s cooperative and players are not able to communicate in speech or visual, and the fantasy setting is quite unique as it’s within a shopping mall, and you’re all stealing. Nagyon gyors pörgős játék, totálisan nem komolyan vehető, de kemény kihívást tartalmaz már a legelső küldtetésnél is. És ahogy nézem később csak még bonyolultabb lesz. Az újrajátszhatósága kb végtelen, de nyilván egy idő után kiismeri az ember a térképlapkákat.

Nem elég ennyi csavar? Hát akkor mit szólsz ahhoz, hogy mindezt időre kell csinálni, elég szűkös kereteken belül? És ha azt mondom, hogy senki sem beszélhet, nem kommunikálhat semmilyen módon a többiekkel, maximum már szinte beszélő tekinteten, és egy lépést sürgető bábun keresztül, melyet odahelyezhetünk valaki elé, akinek szerintünk lépnie kéne? És ha a játék során még körbe is kell adnunk időnként az előttünk lévő mozgatási irányra feljogosító kártyát? A biztonsági kamerákról és egyéb finomságokról már ne is beszéljünk.
