For this collection, OPI partnered with The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organisation to spread awareness about the increasing number of LGBTQIA+ youth suicides. With this collection, OPI wants to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and how important acceptance and kindness are. Alright, up first we have a quad of pink shades. And starting out that lineup, we have ‘Sugar Crush It’. This is the lightest and most “ballet pink” of the shades, and it has delicate iridescent flakes all throughout. This collection includes 12 new polishes with a kaleidoscopic colour palette with a dazzling shimmer.
With this collection, OPI aims to spread awareness about the discrimination and struggles members of the LGBTQIA+ face on a daily basis. The aim of this collection is to ensure that every member of the OPI collection feels understood and accepted. With your help and love for the OPI Power of Hue Collection, OPI has been able to support two of the most influential charities that help the LGBTQIA+ community, The Trevor Project and the Albert Kennedy Trust! Offering you a wide and polymorphic colour palette, this new collection is perfect not only for the summer season but for throughout the year! Including both warm and cool tones of nail polish, the OPI Power of Hue Collection is a remarkable addition to any collection of nail varnishes. Now we finish on up with our purples. This is ‘Don’t Wait, Create’ and it’s the lighter of the 2, and it’s a warm toned lilac base with scattered silvery flakey shimmers all throughout. Bee Unapologetic: This is a sheer bright yellow with golden iridescent shimmers. I don't mind sheer polishes as long as the coverage is even. However, similar to previous shades, Bee Unapologetic is sheer but patchy so I needed three coats for a smooth and even coverage.

Express yourself boldly this summer with a technicolor rainbow that will empower you to speak up, stand out, and show the world the Powerof HueNow for the very last of the pinks, and with one that transitions us on into the oranges so beautifully. This is ‘Sun-rise Up’ and it’s a peachy, almost coral pink shade with golden orange shimmer all throughout. I will say that shimmer is a touch subtle on the nails, so I always wish it was a little more prominent, but that’s a minor complaint.
The OPI Power of Hue Collection is one of the best OPI summer collections. Not only because of its bright and bold colour palette and that AMAZING holographic glitter but because of the message behind it. Sun-rise Up: A delicious soft coral pink, Sun-rise Up features a light scattering of warm gold shimmers. Unfortunately, the formulation is on the patchier side so I needed three coats to ensure a full coverage. For the Power of Hue Collection, OPI also supported the Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT), a non-profit organisation dedicated to offering help to members of the LGBTQIA+ who struggle to find stable housing.Repeat step 3 stamping additional dots of Infinite Shine Feel Bluetiful, Exercise Your Brights, Mango For It, and Bee Unapologetic to cover the remainder of the nail. Allow to dry. There are actually going to be two minisets this time. One will include four shades (Mango for it, Pink BIG, Don’t wait create and Sky true to yourself), and one will include six mini shades (Pink Big, Mango for it, Bee unapologetic, Make rainbows, Feel bluetiful, and Go through grape lengths). I’m actually a huge fan of minisets myself, so I love that there is a large one and a smaller one! The Trevor Project is one of the biggest organisations created to support the LGBTQIA+ youth communities in distress. The Trevor Project dedicates its hard work to spreading suicide awareness, diminishing the growing number of LGBTQIA+ suicides and offering support to anyone who might need it 24/7. Sky True to Yourself: This is a beautiful baby blue scattered with soft blue and pearlescent shimmers. The formulation is sheer so I needed three coats. AKT offers help to any member of the LGBTQIA+ in the UK who is either experiencing homelessness or is living in a hostile environment. They offer homes, education and training to anyone aged 16-25 who is struggling.
