This vehicle appears similarly impressive when viewed from behind, particularly because the louvred exhaust vents have been integrated perfectly with the surrounding armour. Moreover, I like the subtle curvature of this bodywork and the combination of various shapes is quite effective. The trans-red tail lights look excellent too as their relative sizes are accurate. Everything that defines the look and attitude of the vehicle in real life and on screen is so brilliantly captured in 76139 1989 Batmobile, built at a larger-than-minifigure scale (the same scale as 2014’s 76023 The Tumbler). This is a LEGO set that looks the part in every way, capturing the sleek lines and subtle curves that shape such a unique, long frame, whilst just as importantly exuding that same dark, awesome attitude.Condensed tannins, or proanthocyanidins, are compounds whose structures are based on oligomeric flavonoid precursors and vary in the type of linkages between flavonoid units; hydroxylation patterns; stereochemistry of carbons 2, 3 and 4 of the pyran ring and the presence of additional substituents. That emotional reaction is extended to the trio of minifigures included too, thanks primarily to the rubber-style cowl that has been exclusively designed for 76139 1989 Batmobile’s Batman. These are three minifigures worthy of any LEGO Batman fan’s collection and certainly worthy of more detailed appreciation and photography, so have a look at our Minifigure Focus.

Moreover, the substantial size of this model has exceeded my expectations. 76139 1989 Batmobile measures nearly 61cm in length and is therefore accurately scaled beside 76023 The Tumbler from 2014. In fact, this vehicle is slightly longer than both 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and 42083 Bugatti Chiron, although their width is greater. Nevertheless, the model definitely looks wonderful on display. Constructing the interior feels reminiscent of Creator Expert vehicles which is excellent because they feature consistent detail. The rear wheel bearings, on the other hand, seem more closely aligned with recent Technic models such as 42083 Bugatti Chiron. That similarity is not entirely surprising because this Batmobile is easily comparable in both size and weight to those Technic sets.
