A CenterRad Centerbrand radiator has a little well on the end of the roll top radiator facing end out from the radiator. This also uses the Micro Barlo. This valve needs no oring seal but seals on the cone end of the valve stem. Even when you can’t freeze you can still EasyFit to pipes with moving water, without the need to turn off the main external / internal service valve.
It may also take a few minutes for the water to stop running from your taps, as there will be some water left in the pipes from before you turned the water off. Yes, the EasyFit Isolator is designed to be fitted to live pipes hot up to 85°C or cold pipes. 2. When the EasyFit Isolator cuts into the pipe what happens to the piece of pipe which is removed? The EasyFit Isolator is a full-flow valve which reduces flow by just 2% (@ 5 bar 30 lit/min) so flow will be 98% of the flowrate prior to fitting the valve. 4. Is the EasyFit Isolator guaranteed? BSP is approximately 14.5mm. If you use the ¼” BSP thread for your radiator, then it will need PTFE tape fitted on the outside of the bush. The Micro Barlo fits ‘Roll-Top’ radiators. These have a rolled over steel smooth top to the radiator panel. The left and right edges are welded seams. One model has the bleed pin facing to the wall and on a double panel a second bleed pin also faces outwards.There is also a circular ½” BSP valve (Antrax) which has 3 side ports that allow a U key to be used to rotate the valve and screw in/unscrew from a radiator.
