About this deal

The inner court of Alarielle is known as the Royal Moot and comprises the goddess, the Regents of the Glades, and some other Sylvaneth with special duties. [4b] For the most part this only matters for coalitions, most importantly Archaon. You can’t bring in units from other books to create beefy combos, which is a running theme in the other mono-god books. The Points Spites: Diverse magical imps and creatures that spring up around the Sylvaneth, they can be whimsical, cruel, foolish and enigmatic. They assist the tree-folk in many little ways and they in turn indulge them in their playfulness and protect them. [4] Some of the slightly heftier points drops here on unique heroes, many of the others being 10-15 points, and nice to see. You don’t really see much of these heroes on the table though, maybe Katakros sometimes, but not sold that just these points drops are enough to make these guys see more play. Soulblight Gravelords

Ironbark Glade: Not only in Ghyran, but also with a strong presence in the Realm of Chamon, and have forged strong alliances with the duardin. [4b] Deadly Harvest – C asting value of 6. If successfully cast, each enemy unit within 3″ of the caster suffers D3 mortal wounds, rolling separately for each unit. Can be good on one of your many, many warrior-wizards who don’t mind getting into combat, but can be hard to set up. C+ The decreases to the 4 mounted Heroes are nice to see if not a little surprising given that they just received mount traits, the Griffon one being especially good as well, from the Tome Celestial in White Dwarf. The Irondrakes are a solid staple of just about any Cities of Sigmar army putting out a punishing amount of firepower so this makes a lot of sense, making many existing lists go up 30 points f

The newly reborn Alarielle sent a pulse of pure life magic and called forth a great muster of the Sylvaneth with her Spirit-Song, summoning the wargroves of every glade, even the disbanded Sons of Durthu and the disdained Outcasts. She took up the spear of Kurnoth and called a Royal Moot with the Regents of the Glades. The God-King sent his Celestant-Prime and Alarielle made the decision to ally with him. [9d] Really good, the buff requires units to get pretty close to it, but you can spawn it early, use vital venoms to get your squad moving and then dispel it and drop it again later. It’ll be a major headache for your opponent and at only 50 pts its worth considering. Vengeful Skullroot

Notably this is only the combat phase but that is where a lot of your damage is going to come from anyway, just make sure to use it intelligently since you may not have the CP to go around if you spend it too generously.Branchwraith is an unsung hero. While not a huge stand out they are cheap, and can summon in a unit of 10 Dryads, which are not great but they can bog an enemy down for a turn and sometimes that’s what you need. The Realmroots throughout Ghyran allows the Spirit-Song to connect and for the Sylvaneth to communicate across vast distances. [9b]
