About this deal

Seek and read from the book of the LORD: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without its mate. For the mouth of the LORD has commanded, and his spirit has gathered them. OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) drama: OW - yes, but not in the romantic sense The OW in this case is Luke’s sister Heather, who was banished to the Badlands Territory in book two of the Shifted Love series for being exceptionally rude to the alpha’s human mate. It’s now a year later, and she’s still treating humans horribly, including Adley, who’s family she’s been living with.

First off it definitely needed more editing done, 2nd we seemed to skip from point a to c a lot leaving you scratching your head wondering if you missed a paragraph or something (probably the most annoying thing in this book), the other thing that was weird but some people probably won't mind is, I'd swear like the whole book seemed to take place in about 2 weeks and yet it was even commented towards the end that it was 6 months, like what was happening during that time? Seek ye out of the book of Jehovah, and read: no one of these shall be missing, none shall want her mate; for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his Spirit, it hath gathered them. The final time Feyre leaves Tamlin and the Spring Court is in chapter 12 of A Court of Mist and Fury, when Tamlin uses magic to trap Feyre in the house and Mor rescues her. While this strange dialogue continued, I perceived the crowd rapidly increase. Their faces expressed a mixture of curiosity and anger, which annoyed and in some degree alarmed me. I inquired the way to the inn, but no one replied. I then moved forward, and a murmuring sound arose from the crowd as they followed and surrounded me, when an ill-looking man approaching tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Come, sir, you must follow me to Mr. Kirwin's to give an account of yourself." I get the sneaking suspicion FD is planning to write a book for Heather which I’ve got mixed feelings about. Until the very end of this story, we’ve only seen her at her worst which doesn’t exactly make me excited to read her story. However, I’m also genuinely curious to see who she’d end up with and how the man would react to her basically being in love with another guy almost her entire life until it turns out he was fated for someone else. How ironic would be it if she found herself fated to be with a human? It would be her ultimate redemption, even bigger than the progress she made in this book.

Our FMC is strong, sensitive and she doesn’t shy away from making the hard decisions. I always dread reading of FMC’s who hym and haw over their gifts, the “why me” whining drives me crazy! But Belladonna knows her powers, works with her strengths and tries to overcome any weaknesses she may believe she has. In some cases, male praying mantis even offer themselves to the female as a source of protein when they are done mating. Starfall is one of the cutest Rhys and Feyre moments in my opinion. In Chapter 44, we see the court of dreamers celebrate the Valeris holiday, and Rhysand and Feyre go to the roof alone. I have three favorite moments in this chapter.

Rhys and Feyre then reunite in the way that only two mated/married Fae would… The Bone Carver Appears As Feyre And Rhysand’s Child Praying mantises lay different numbers of eggs depending on their species and overall health level. Mating success can also affect the number of eggs laid, as the females who mate completely with a decapitated male tend to lay more eggs than those who don’t eat their mate. Each of the characters introduced are all likeable and this definitely does insta-love with the guys. Bella and each guy are drawn to each other upon seeing each other for the most part even though males discern their fated mates by sight and smell, whereas the female needs touch. Rhys comes to the cabin and bares his soul to Feyre. He reveals to her his POV from their time Under the Mountain and when she was with Tamlin. I wish it had been fleshed out a lot more (like, seriously, a lot) and a hell of a lot more editing. This could have easily been 2 or maybe even 3 books.

Narration was alright, I liked the female narrator but the male narrator was hit or miss for me. I did not lie how he did Egon’s voice, it was not for me. I thought he did a good job with the other 3 and the side characters. I appreciated the emotion we got mostly in the 1st half (some in the second). I was confused a lot by the end with her other family members. It didn’t make sense to me/was very abrupt, especially with one of them after what we saw in the first half of the book. Her emotions made sense there, the devastation was done well, but I didnt get from the family members the emotions I had wanted (was partially hindered by how the author portrayed it all as well). I trembled and my heart failed within me, when, on looking up, I saw by the light of the moon the dæmon at the casement. A ghastly grin wrinkled his lips as he gazed on me, where I sat fulfilling the task which he had allotted to me. Yes, he had followed me in my travels; he had loitered in forests, hid himself in caves, or taken refuge in wide and desert heaths; and he now came to mark my progress and claim the fulfilment of my promise. In The Book of the LORD you can search and find where it is written, "The LORD brought together all of his creatures by the power of his Spirit. Not one is missing." This will be a very short review, as I'm unsure how to feel about this book. I'm going for either very sad or angry. It took me a long while to realize that Rhysand, whether he knew it or not, had effectively kept me from shattering completely.”

SparkNotes—the stress-free way to a better GPA

Before Rhys shows Feyre the city, she also swears her allegiance to the Night Court and further cuts ties with the Spring Court and Tamlin. Chapter 13 of A Court of Mist and Fury Search ye diligently in the book of the Lord, and read: not one of them was wanting, one hath not sought for the other: for that which proceedeth out of my mouth, he hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

This book sets up some minor details for A Court of Silver Flames, so it is worth the read in that regard. But let’s talk about what goes down between Rhys and Feyre! Feyre’s Solstice Gift For RhysandOh and let's mention the random prophecy, legends retellings, sudden pop up of historian with some pretty important info. And some important thing about Spirit wolfs are mentioned like : 'Oh and btw your powers will be shared along the bond so your wolf with grow bigger'. The battles and the mystery in this book also kept me on my toes. I couldn’t put done the book without finding out if everyone was ok after each battle!
