About this deal

I now find the old board far, far less aggressive than the new ...and even though I am staunchly anti-Brexit and not a Tory supporter and Mozzer can confirm that, I feel uncomfortable with the new board’s aggression. Section 13.1B of the MARION ( ACT Writers Centre) Constitution stipulates that all nominations must be received 14 days before the Annual General Meeting. We encourage anyone interested to apply for a position on the Board, particularly if you have experiencein financial management, fundraising and philanthropy.

That's the message that faith and rights leaders sent in a Monday letter to U.S. President Joe Biden and members of Congress ahead of the anniversary of Bloody Sunday—when white police officers violently assaulted civil rights advocates, including future Congressman John Lewis (D-Ga.), as they marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Alabama on March 7, 1965.Kirsty joined the team in January 2017 after having spent her professional career as a CLD practitioner, primarily working in Adult Learning, Adult Literacies and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). She has a BA in Community Education, M.Sc in Adult & Continuing Education and a PG Certificate in Adult Guidance and has recently completed a HE Certificate in digital learning design. Kirsty is a keen advocate of learning as a means to promoting empowerment, enhancing inclusion and achieving social justice. Re: Why did we go out with a defensive formation against the bottom team - Bryn 25/10/2023, 12:13 am The Audit, Nominations, Remuneration, Disclosure and ESG committees have written terms of reference that define their role, responsibilities and membership.

May 30, 2020 18:59:52 GMT The Real Exile said:Well at least you have given this a go, what is it you don't like? Have you tried the various views? Best analogy I can give is going down to an away match with 8 people in a mini coach or 800 going on a special train ....some of us prefer the banter of a small group than a big gathering...that’s exactly why I like the experience of being one of 4000 at a County game rather than 75000 at a Premiership game. Katy replaces outgoing CEO Meg Wilson whose strong and compassionate leadership steered the organisation through the difficulties of the pandemic into our rebranding as MARION, an organisation dedicated to elevating writers and their art. The board thanks Meg for their care and dedication and is excited to continue engaging with them as a member.” said MARION Chair, Emma Batchelor. The outcomes of this referendum will have lasting ramifications for First Nations people and for the ongoing relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. It is critical that we each invest time and thought into how we will vote and why.

Those of us who are planning to be in Selma to honor the struggle for voting rights and economic justice should be willing to protest and engage nonviolently if politicians attempt to do moral harm to the memory and the sacredness of what happened on Bloody Sunday," declares the letter. "This is no time for foolishness, photo-ops, and flaky commitments."

TRE and suedehead I will probably use both boards depending on what’s being discussed but like many I much prefer the old format, for someone not PC savvy like me it’s much simpler and basic and its evolved over a very long time to what it is now, which I accept for many especially those under 50 is far too basic and boring. All the "bells and whistles" are to me huge negatives but obviously to many others these are huge positives and they simply cannot understand why we "dinosaurs" could possibly not want change! As a leading organisation for writing and literature, we are committed to attracting and nurturing new and diverse voices inour region. Our focus on cultivating professional development opportunities for writers through harnessing our national connections, ensures that the ACT remains a catalyst for writing based culture. Ms Mutton has been ‘Interim CEO’ following the departure of former CEO, Meg Wilson. Ms Mutton is well-known to many in the ACT creative sector and beyond, with an established creative practice and extensive professional experience across the arts. Why I stand for Yes, and why that’s hard to say out loud, Claire G. Coleman, Crikey, 5 September 2023 I am conscious that I’ve been warned that “I’m walking on thin ice” so I will not be as I could be too demonstrative in response to your question. Re: FAO Phil Ledger Alizaybak and anyone else who is interested. - The Chairman 17/11/2023, 6:37 pmWe are specifically seeking a person with the necessary experience to takeon the role of Treasurer and someone tolead the fundraising subcommittee. I don’t mind change either but it has to be change for a reason! For me Marions isn’t broke it doesn’t need fixing.
