About this deal

Another noteworthy feature of the Veho Muvi K2 NPNG is its long battery life, which ensures continuous recording for extended periods. The camera also has a built-in LCD screen, which allows users to easily frame their shots and review their footage.

The avi files are huge (as much as 850MB on the card for each 30 minute file-- you get about 75 minutes of files on a 2GB card) so the supplied card is somewhat limiting. When you start looking for a hat camera, you’ll soon discover the choice is huge and you can find yourself becoming confused over which one will be best. Use this guide to help you choose a camera that suits your needs, without breaking the bank. What to look for The colours are true to life, or as some people like to call it "washed out". The colours in the videos are not over saturated or abnormally colourful. Very good picture quality for its size (640X480 VGA or 2 mega pixels). Videos look good even when shown on my video projector. Records at up to 30 fps so videos are not jerky. I bought this item on 2nd Sep 2009. I've used this on and off for the last 29 months mainly for recording clips on my commuter bike. I've eventually attached this to the front of my helmet. You can find decent examples of the video this device records on You Tube. A lot of people have covered the spec and quality of this camera already so I won't elaborate on that too much. The HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilisation has three modes. It can be adjusted for the activity you’re doing, which means the footage you get is clear, and the wide-angle lens captures more of your ride, too. Plus TimeWarp 2.0 produces great time-lapse videos. Works well in the night. I know people have reviewed this camera saying that it's poor in the night. It's far from a great picture. But compared to other camera in this price range it still does a good job, even if the picture has softer edges etc, that's to be expected as the exposure goes up. I can still get license plates from the footage at night which is more than can be said for the expensive Drift HD camera! (which is poor at night despite night mode and with the wide lens makes plates hard to read unless really close up).

As you’re looking through the features of each camera, there are a few that you can’t really go without… Size and weight The first thing to consider is the size and weight of the camera. Mounting a big, heavy camera on your riding hat is going to be uncomfortable when used over a period of time and is likely to affect your balance, too. Go for a camera that’s lightweight and compact, so you’re less likely to notice it on your riding hat. Bear in mind also the effect its weight might have in the event of you falling off. Durability Spending time around the yard and your horse means your gear will take a bit of a beating. Selecting a hat camera that’s tough and will stand up to being exposed to the elements, horses, and dirt is a big consideration. Waterproof I read the pdf version of the documentation (supplied on the CD) because I do not like reading what must be 4 point type of the included printed manual. I reviewed this shortly after I received it and awarded it five stars, I have had it for about eight months and still think it is absolutely brilliant, bought one for my son, he loves it.We will never sell your information. We will always comply with all relevant data protection legislation including the General Data Protection Regulation. I've bought it for when out driving my mobility scooter. For my protection the way any other driver has a dash cam. Recording at 2 Mega Pixels will use up a lot of memory. The instruction manual indicates that 45 minutes of recording requires 1 Gb of storage, but I found that it requires closer to 1 Gb for every 30 minutes. I highly recommend getting a 8 Gb Micro SD Card (max size allowed). The battery will last up to 3 hours which means that you will need up to 6 Gb of storage to use it that long recording continuously. The accessories seemed almost generous: clip, pouch, strap, corded USB, un-corded USB, CD, printed manual, and really useful software-- it automatically begins upload when connected (if you have the power switch to "on" and the VOX to "off").

With our insurance company our insurers for claims (or potential claims) purposes. Social media platforms for marketing purposes.I always look at the "properties" (Windows) of the device to make sure it does not require formatting before disconnecting (see #4 above); otherwise, I may have only about 40% of the card space available. While a waterproof camera isn’t essential — unless you’re planning on going swimming with your horse — opting for a camera that’s waterproof or comes with a waterproof case is a good idea. This means you can use it in all weathers and don’t have to worry about mud or water damaging it. Mount It will not work as a web-cam on Windows 7 Starter. No work-around exists. It will not work. I did not buy it for that, but tested it, researched why it failed, and learned there is nothing to be done about it. For what it is worth, it seems to be a Microsoft problem. It's interesting that all my videos so far indicate that they were modified Dec 31, 2000 12:00 am. However, the times and date of the video creation have been correct. This sports camera comes features a 170° wide-angle lens so you can capture a wider angle without losing any detail.

Image quality isn't quite up there with the best that GoPro has to offer but a simple bit of experimentation can lead to some very professional-looking results.

The Veho Muvi K2NPNG is a veritable bargain of an action camera with plenty of accessories bundled in

Its low weight has allowed me to attach it using Velcro to my car mirror so I can record my journeys. This isn’t a camera — but it goes very well with one. This new tabard from Rider Eye was released after the maximum speed to pass horses was changed to 10mph in the Highway Code.
